Do you wait and do a bunch at a time. I went yesterday and had quite a few pictures to have developed. And it cost a bundle. I also order them from Walgreens sometimes off the internet but yesterday I wanted them right away so went to Walmart to use the Kodak machine. So do you get your's developed right away...or wait until you have your memory card full?

Yes, I get them developed right after because I'm excited to see how they are. It would be good to view your pics..lol...why don't you create a blog and let's connect and read each other's post and view each other's pictures. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Cheers and all the best.

I "develop" my digital photos myself. I put the memory card in my computer, save the photos onto my harddrive, then edit them using Photoshop. Then I print out any photos I want as prints. Sometimes I save the photos onto my computer immediately after I take them, or sometimes I wait a few days or even a few weeks. As for film photos, I try to take them in to get developed immediately after I finish a roll. Though sometimes I wait until I have another reason to go to the shopping center where I get my photos developed to save a trip.

I usually will wait for a few events to take place then go and order a bunch from walmart online and then go pick them up. But sometimes I want it quickly and will order right away to get the prints. I only select the best pictures now where when I had a 35 mm I was stuck with lots of bad pictures, just to get one good one. Now I can take 100 pictures delete the sucky ones and then develop the rest.

My memory card isn't full but I have a computer full of them.. I have over 1500 of my son's wedding and some are duplicates, but even if I deleted the duplicates, it would still cost me a frotune to get all of them developed.. I have much more than that but they will hopefully get developed and put in the photo album before long..

Actually, I don't get my pictures developed unless I want them to be displayed in the wall of our house. I usually upload pictures straight in my blog where my family and friends can see it. From there, I let my friends and family choose the pictures that they want to be printed.

I rarely use disposable cameras anymore - but when I do, OF COURSE I totally procrastinate and finally have them developed a good six months after the event has already taken place (and has been forgotten about). Unless I need the pictures for another purpose or something (such as a school photography assignment or something like that). I usually use my digital camera now - although I do like having CONCRETE pictures (that I can hang in frames or put in photo albums), so I usually go to Walgreens or Target and use my USB/Flash Drive to have the ones I want printed out.

I generally put all photos on my computer from my digital and then the extra special ones are sent to Walgreen's via email and I pick them up later in the day. It's inexpensive and I have special photos of our grandkids in no time. I don't have a photo quality printer. One of these days I will have to get one.

I used to use a 35mm and haven't used it in over 3 years and yet I still have rolls of film that haven't been developed. I am terrible about dropping it off and picking it up...not to mention that it has to go to Walmart (only place that develops here) and I hate going there. I use my digi alot more but even then I forget to take the photos off half the time. I remember the old kind...the instamatic...they used to spit the pic right out for you. I'd love one of those now but they probably don't make the film for them anymore. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Since I have a great printer, I usually print them off as I want to. Most of my photos I print off I use for scrapbooking. It's great to just be able to print off the pictures I want, whenever I want them. I also print of some pictures to send to family.

I usually go to Walgreens and print a few of the pictures on the PhotoMaker, right after I take them at an event or when company is here. Alot of times, I don't ever print a hard copy. I store the pictures on my hard drive and email them to friends and family. I guess I am a little weird about this but I am usually scared to delete the pictures off the memory card. Isn't that crazy? I'm afraid something will happen to the pictures so I tend to want to keep saving them. I wonder if anybody else does that.

Hi Jill, I usually upload onto the computer straight away and then wait for some online deals where you get the first 20 or 50 free before getting developed but will email the good ones to friends and famil that are in them. If it is a really good one in amongst I will print off myself as I have a photo printer but that can get expensive with ink to just to willy nilly. Hope the photos were worth the bundle of money you paid. Huggles. Ellie :D

They definately were....I don't print alot at home either because of the price of ink....I go through that fast enough without printing pictures though on occasion I do print one off I might have missed for my scrapbooking.

I am the worst about developing pictures. I have pictures in my camera from over two years ago that I need to get developed. Whenever someone looks at my camera they always comment on it. I always tell my self that I am just going to go one day and develop all my pictures but I never get around to it. Right now I have over 500 pictures in my camera so I imagine that will be pretty pricey!

I dont have any digital camera and hence when ever i need to take pics i use photographic roll/film. No i dont get it developed right away but since the film has 36 snaps so i wait till all snaps are taken and then go to the shop and develop at leisure.

Hi Jill A few years ago for Christmas, I got the fabulous digital camera that takes great pics. I have a good printer. I edit pics myself, and print off what I want to keep or give away. I download pics to my computer and burn them to discs for long time storage. Discs are easier to ship also. Back in the day, I would always have a roll or two in being developed. Sometimes I took so many rolls that some of them got misplaced until considerably later. Makes it kind of hard to put these in an album in chronological order if you misplace a roll. LOL So, in answer to your question, yes I do print off my pics after an event. LOL Have a nice day my friend..
