Which One Do You Prefer, Public or Private Transportation?

I have been in Malaysia for one year. I enjoy to use public transportation such as Bus, LRT, monorail,KTM, and Taxi. It's cheap, fast, and efficient. Besides that, it's very helpful for me as new resident here because I don't know the road and I will get lost in the city without this public transportation.
How about you? Do you use public transportation? Why do you like it?

I need to love public transportation since i don't have a car..But I really wish I have one..Here in the Philippines, one means of transportation is through jeepneys..I have to ride a jeepney when going to school..There are times, drivers are too greedy in passengers and comes to point that my time will be consumed on waiting for the jeepney to move and the result is, i will be late on my class..

I have to force myself love the public transportation here in our country. Because, I don't have a car! LOL! Yes, that's true. I sometimes wish I have a car so I can go to places without even waiting for the public utility vehicles.
A friend who has a car explained though why he preferred public transportation specially buses and rail transits. Rails transits are fast and efficient while riding a bus allows you to relax, watch and enjoy the scenery. Yes, the taxis will help you navigate shorter routes and bring you fast to unknown destinations.
For me, my favorite is our "King of the Road" - the passenger jeepney (how I wish I can post a pic here). It's very affordable and it will give you a glimpse of the real Filipino street life.
