http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29032692/ this guy said that his grandkids were being abused and kidnapped them from TN in 1989 and has been busted now.. the kids (now in their 20s) will meet their parents that they have not seen in 20 years!! is that crazy or what!?!? finally a good and happy ending to such a terrible situation! i wonder though why these people waited this long.. i think at the age of 18 i would have been trying to find my parents ya know?? what do you think the grandfathers punishment should be?

sorry, I couldn't get the link to work, was it ever found that the kids were abused? I would want to know the whole story before making a decision, if this guy truly that he was doing what was in the kids best interest, and he was family, he may not even of seen it as kidnapping.

I am fully aware what the law is I am suggesting what possibly could have gone through his mind, If everyone followed the law there would never be anyone in jail

in the usa it doesnt matter if you are family or not unless you are the parent.. parents can kidnap easier with out getting into trouble than anyone else.. and no it never said.. i think it will just depend on how the state wants to be with it.. im worried that he may have brain washed the kids by now to where even if they werent abused they think they were and that would be awful.. since its in my state i should hear some follow ups and will try to post anything that is interesting that comes of this story

I'm glad that they found the kids. I really don't know what kind of punishment he would deserve. If the parents were really abusing the children then it might have been a good thing that he took them away from them.

yeah if they were being abused then he did the right thing but they never proved it and he could have brain washed them now to believe they had so we may never know
