Ugly fruit

Have any of you heard of the ugly fruit? I am not making this up! I saw one in the grocery store last summer and I stopped in my tracks. So I asked the produce manager about it and he gave me one to try for free (he was a very nice man). Well, we took it home, peeled it like an orange, and scarfed it down. It was delicous! Needless to say we went back and got some more. I have not seen this thing since, and would really like to find some.
Have any of you heard of this fruit?

I believe it is spelled "Ugli" instead of ugly hehe, I have never tried it but I know that it comes from Jamaica, so that is really cool. What did it taste like, a grapefruit orange? Perhaps ask the friendly manager if he expects to get more of them if you cannot find any, maybe make a suggestion for them to get more!

Oh, thats funny. They did have it listed as ugly, and I would say the name fit. It definately tasted better than it looked! Now that I think about it, grapefruit-orange would probably be the best taste description you could give to it. Definately a unique experience.
