Have you ever hit anything with your car? I was thinking about this on the way home from town today. So far I have hit 3 deers ( one buck, two does) the bucks came out of the woods and jumped in right in front of my car. One of the does came running across the road and the other one was just standing in the middle of the road by the time I seen the dear it was to late to keep from hitting ether one of them. I have also hit a bird and ran over a opossom. Oh yah I also had a frog that was sticking out of the grill of my car to, I don't know how he got there.

I've hit a deer once. There is a lot of deer around here. I've come close to hitting several. The last thing I remember hitting was a fox...not many of those around here.

I hit a bird with the right outside mirror and it was demolished since I was going at highway speed when it flew into to my car. I hit a dog that ran in front of me and I jammed on the breaks but still hit it. It ran off to a nearby house to the front poarch. I stopped and went to check on it. It seemed to be more scared and shaken than injured. I rang the doorbell of the house thinking that perhaps since it run onto that poarch that it belonged to someone there. But no one answered the doorbell. Finally after quite some time it seemed to have settled down somewhat and there didn't seem to be much else I could do so I left it there since I had to get to work.

The only thing I have ever hit was a German Shepard who thought it would be fun to play chicken with my SUV. (Don't worry, he was fine!) I was taking a friend home and was slowed down on a frontage road looking for their driveway. When I looked up there was a big, dumb dog barreling towards my vehicle. I cranked the wheel as hard as I could and he just glanced off the corner of my bumper. He was absolutely fine, not one scratch or even a limp. My truck on the other time was missing the entire driver's side corner. Damn plastic bumpers!

I moved to Missouri in July 2008. At the end of October (after hunting season started) I hit a 6 point buck. Man did that suck! I had never hit an animal before in my life. I realize that things happen...but I felt so bad! The dang thing ran right out from the road at the perfect moment...it's like he timed it! No chance for me to stop at all. :-( Not to mention my 3-year-old daughter was in the car...the air bags deployed. It was just nerve wracking! Someone did tell me, though, that you can buy deer whistles for your car. I guess you can get them at Walmart in the hunting/sporting goods section. I plan on getting some ASAP!...even though hunting season is over. lol

When I hit that buck my air bags didn't deploy, but my eye glasses was cocked side ways. I had deer whistles on my car when I hit the last deer. They gave them to me a my insurance company. It says on the pack that they will make the deers stay still, I guess they was right because that deer sure didn't move out of the middle of the road.ha ha

the only thing i've ever hit with my car is another car. i backed right into it. what makes me feel really dumb is that the car was parked. yes, i was dumb enough to hit a parked car. with an otherwise clean driving record! what was even MORE embarrassing was that the other car belonged to one of my father's friends... yikes! i was so incredibly mortified and felt so bad about it, that they didn't know what to do when i told them, they both just laughed. it only made a dent, and i felt much better after i took it with my dad's friend to get the dent popped out -- needless to say, i always head check twice before backing out of a parking spot now!

I thought that drives must certainly be very careful, will be very otherwise easy to have problems, will therefore certainly want safe driving own vehicle, will not want inside the transferor the human worried, also will let itself be happier~~~

Hit a deer with husbands brand new truck, had to call him and tell him. He was not a happy camper. Had a deer hit my rear passenger door when I had a toyota rav4. Had to call hubby again and he was mad that yet again I hit another deer, tried to explain that deer hit me. He did not believe me until he saw the door, nice big indentions where his horns hit it. Hit a few squirrels, they are fast little things. In September hit my boys german shepherd, only had him 2 weeks, I was really upset. My 9 year old was holding him but he was so excited to see me he pulled away from him. I have a Nissan Armada and could not see him at all. Ran into a ditch about 4 years ago trying to break up fight between little ones, and they say cell phones are a big distration, try driving with kids.

Haha me and my friends used to drive around and kill animals (sad, but true) i have ran over rabbits, possums, raccoons, rats, and other small animals. I did hit a coyote once, but it deserved it, after it had attacked my small dog.

Hi Sweetashoney, I know what you are talking about. I had a deer slam in the side of my blazer trying not to hit on. I have hit a rabbit, a bat, a bird, a possum and lots of squirrels. I've almost hit a bear and a mountain loin. Frogs all the time. Some snacks. I'm sure I hit other things to. Where I live there are so many animals.

Oh lord where to begin on this one lol. When I first started to drive, it seems like i hit just about everything that could be hit. I hit just about every tree that lined my dad's driveway, and i hit a stump and caved in the entire passengers side door so bad you couldn't even open it. I also hit a crow once and it smashed the windshield in my nova.
