I guess I am not much of a husband either. I can cook, and I can do the yard work. I can help with the cleaning and the laundry. What I can't seem to do is find a decent job. No matter how hard I try, I can't get ahead. There is really nothing you can do to prepare yourself for marriage. There is nothing like it in the world, but that isn't always a good thing. Not being able to cook in minimal. Anyone can learn to cook. Keep him happy in bed, and keep things in order around the house...the rest will fall into place.

I am not sure where you live and if it's necessary to know how to cook being a wife, but where I live I don't have to know how to cook, but it's easier to know how to so as to not constantly go out to eat and etc. I don't know how to cook very well myself but am not worried about it as I know that when I need to learn I will. Committing yourself to someone may seem hard at first, but it's something you have to know that you want to do. Go with your gut instinct, do you love him?

I am the worst cook and my husband does most of our cooking! If you are feeling scared or nervous I guess that is normal for some but, I remember I was just very excited and couln't wait for the day to come as we had to put it off twice due to not having money!

..That was one of my fears before.. However, when I got married, things seems to go easy for me.. I discovered that mindset is a very important factor in marriage.. what I mean is, you have to set your mind first and accept the fact that you are already committing yourself to somebody.. and no retreat.. Tell your husband to be that you are not that good in cooking.. he will understand.. then try to teach yourself how to cook simple meals.. eventually, you will learn how to cook his favorites..
