No way! I loce sinking into nice cooshy and comfy and soft and cozy furniture. hehe I can't stand the way plastic, leather, or pleather feels. I've been to homes where plastic was on the furniture, but luckily we stayed in the dining room the whole time we were there. It looked horribly uncomfortable!

When I was young I had an aunt whose house was plastic all over. She not only had plastic covering both couches and a chair in the living room, she also had those plastic runners on the carpet going from the front door straight through to the kitchen. It was uncomfortable to sit on because they were hard and they had these even hard thick seams going around each cushion. We, usually only went by their house around the Christmas holidays. So the whole sticking thing wan't an issue. But I couldn't imagine wearing shorts during the warmer weather...eeewww and ouch!

I don't see how that works. xD I know that some people do this (although I currently know none that do), but isn't the whole point of a couch to sit on it and relax and not sit on plastic, like you said...? What's the point in protecting a couch if you're not using it properly? o_o Just a side tip, an easy way not to get dirt on your couch is to place a nice sheet over it that you can take off and clean and replace. Ours makes our couch look even better - much better than plastic!
