We will soon have six kids all under the age of 5. Does anyone else have multiple kids and any ideas or tips on how to deal with this many young children at one time? Also how can we prepare the other children for bringing a new baby into our home?

Ouch! Did you have any multiple births, or did you just start young? With that many young children, you have to be very organized. You need to give chores to help you out to each child as they're able to do them. There's too much for you to handle on your own. I saw something on TV where they had color coded the things belonging to each child and placed the things in bins of the same color. The kids each had a different color of smiley face stickers to match their bins. They put one sticker on each toy so everyone would know where a particular toy belonged. Tell your older ones about the baby and let them play a part in this birth. They can feel your gorwing tummy, give suggestions for names, help fix up a nursery. Then they'll feel like big kids and included instead of like they're going to be replaced.

This is really hard. I dont have any but i think it will be hard to raise 5 children. It is like a full time job. Probably more than full time jub, it must be like working three jobs. But dont worry it is so nice to have so many children and to see them grow up. It is worthit

Give each one a responsibility for something for the new baby. one to get the diaper one to get the powder so on and so forth. Teach each onr to care for his or her own toys. and don't have too many for them. hope this helps. I had 4 under 5.
