Do you feel appreciation for everything you have most of the time without complaining?

I try to, I really do, but it's hard - especially when you see someone else in a better situation than you (when you feel you deserve it more). I feel like I do end up taking things for granted, however - maybe this is just human nature (or at least a trend among young adults).

Thank you maezee for your reply. I find your answer interesting and honest. I also feel sometimes that it is hard to appreciate when you wish that you could be in someone else's shoes that seem to be in a better situation. I feel that maybe counting our blessings and being happy for what we have is probably most important.

That's definitely true! And I wasn't trying to sound like a little spoiled brat when I said that, either, but it's true - I can be green with envy sometimes over small things. But in general, I'm happy for having a home to live in, great friends and family, a job in this wicked-crazy economy, and of course a healthy body. :)

nope I complain a lot because I really don't have much less than most people, but I do appreciate what I do have don't get me wrong.

Thanks friend for your honest reply. I can relate to you in some manner. It is good that you do find yourself appreciating what you do have. It is sometimes hard no to want want others have. Right now I am vehicle challenged!lol I don't have an auto and I hope to get one as soon as I can. However I am happy that I have my family and a roof over my head!
