How many times have you moved?

I have moved many times since i was back to this city. The first one was assigned by my company in the surburbs, then we moved downtown to have our first apartment, and later at the corner of the century, we spotted a townhouse estate at very low price in the outskirts. No road, no lane, only the initial sample buildings and a blueprint map. Foreseeing the dream in green gardening environment, we made up our mind, and it proves to be corredt. The neighborhood is now busy with social facilities in place, very suitable for living at elderly age. We enjoy working and we enjoy moving. Do you? How many times have you moved in your lifetime?

I've moved a total of 4 times. From my parents house in the Bay Area to a house in Sacramento. Then to an apartment, another apartment, and finally to where I am now...all in the same general area as the first place I moved to.

I have moved only twice. Once, when we had to move from a tenanted place as the owner wanted to build some apartments. We then decided to build our own place. So till that had to stay in another rented place for a year till the new home was complete. Since then have been staying in our own place.

I moved to a few difference houses (2) with my mother when I was younger, but my grandparents house was essentially my home since I was born. I moved out of state for the first time a few weeks ago.

I moved several times but back and forth to the same place. I moved to the United States when I was three years old. I moved back to South Korea when I was six years old. I moved back to the United States (same state too) when I was seven years old. I moved back to South Korea in the summer of 2007 and have been here ever since. In South Korea, I moved apartments once when I was in America. I moved once in the US also but it was in the same neighborhood.

In my whole life I have moved a total of sixteen times. Since being married I have moved only 4 times. I have lived in my present home for 7 years and do not plan to move again. I live in a log house that my husband built, so we are here to stay.

Oh! Nice question. I have moved a lot of times. Five times to be exact. When I finished university, I moved to the city to find a job. The place wasn't really good. It is far from the business centers. I have to travel at least an hour and a half before I reach my work place. Then I decided to move to a nearer place to my work. But the place isn't good because there are a lot unemployed people around me. So they don't have anything to do but to talk about gossips and I hate that. And then I decided to move. I moved to a place near my colleague's house because he recommended me that place. However, I didn't like it because every time we get our paychecks, he has nothing to do but to borrow money from me. It's not really a good thing to lend money every payday. And then I moved again. I stayed in the place for a year and two months. The place is good. There is a 24 hour security and it is very convenient. I just have to travel for 15 minutes to get to my work place. But it is very hot in summer. So I decided to get a wider place. And fortunately, I am satisfied to where I live now.

we've moved out twice.. and the most memorable was definitely our first move.. Hubby and i decided to have our own place.. since it was our first time, we've had to buy few things for our apartment(Television, Stove, Electric Fan, kitchen utensils, curtains, etc).. then after a year, we've decided to move out again and this time, a condo unit that is few minutes away from my parents house in the south.. i love our new place.. it's way better than the first.. it has complete amenities and facilities, they have 24 convenient store, laundry service, water refilling station, mini bar/restaurant and computer shop.

I've moved a few times since i was 13 years old. I lived in my first house since birth and it is the biggest place i've lived in so far. At around 13 years old i moved to a flat which was quite far from my old house but still within the country. Then at 15 i moved cross country to where i'm currently at. I stayed in a rental house for 2 years. After that i moved with my family to our self-owned property. This house is where i'm staying at present. My parents have another house in construction. It is supposedly ready end of next year so hopefully that's true. The new house will be bigger than my current one. So those are my moves in my lifetime.

I have always moved around. I guess it's because I never felt like I had found "my place" in life. I don't enjoy moving..leaving people you know and the work involved..but I did it anyway. I have always come home to my state and have now bought a house so I guess I will be staying here. Who knows though? I have been at my job for ten years and it's the longest one I have had. I guess it's because it challenges me and I like that. Boredom is something I have issues with.lol..

To be frank, I have not moved before since the day I was born. i stayed at where I am for the past 37 years and I am planning to stay on this way. I really hate moving and stuffs like that. Although I do travel a lot in my work, but i really don't like moving at all.

Since I started living alone, I had moved from one house to another thrice. Now, I love my apartment. I would probably stay long here. It's more convenient and accessible to everywhere - mall, church, schools, etcetera.

I moved a lot when I was young, but as an adult, I've lived in the same place for almost nine years. Growing up I moved twenty or thirty times.

This is only my third move. I have just relocated to my present dwelling which I hope is only temporary as I have to run the business my dad left when he passed away two years ago. This place I am in now is a far cry from where I used to stay. It is a remote place where I need to get myself readjusted to the ways of life here after living for ages in the city. But the cool climate and the serene atmosphere make me love the place more than the hectic city life.

In my entire life, 10 times, if you count moving to and from a dorm. That's a lot of moving, considering that I'm only 26. We moved to a new house when I was about 9 or 10. I moved to college, then moved in with my boyfriend, then moved to Indiana, then moved to Kentucky, then moved back to Louisiana and moved to 2 other apartments in Louisiana after that. Then I moved to South Dakota and then I moved to Iowa, where I currently live.

I've moved a number of times too, but only once within the same city. I moved from Serbia to Russia, and then back to Serbia after a couple of years when I was really young. Then, I moved from Apartment A to Apartment B in Belgrade. Then, I moved to the United Arab Emirates where I'm currently staying. =P 3 countries.
