I understand that there are a lot of people here who are either not from America or do not believe in god. I understand that, and would appreciate your comments on this as well, however I will be honest in saying that this discussion is going to be more for those who do believe in god and are outraged at this new coin.
What do you think of the new coin that is for the dollar bill and is without In God We Trust? Do you think that we should refuse the coin, or would you refuse the coin?

This simple action will make a strong statement.
Please help do this...refuse to accept these when they are handed to you. I received one from the Post Office as change and I asked for a dollar bill instead. The lady just smiled and said 'way to go' so she had read this e-mail. Please help out...our world is in enough trouble without this too!!!!!U.S. Government to Release New Dollar Coins

First they take prayer out of schools, now they're doing this. Sorry for my being blunt but this really stinks. Actually it was only a matter of time as we heard the news way earlier that they had the intention of removing the words. Although I'm not from the US of A, I do agree with you that you guys can make be the difference!~

I hope that we can be the difference! I know that if my fiance and I see one of these and realize it at the time we'll refuse it, now if that's all they have at the time we won't start anything, we'll accept it and go somewhere else to trade it!

I really wonder the coin with the "In god we trust" looks like now. Before, i notice only color and nominal of the money only, but since you post this, I check all Indonesian money and all pappers all writen :
"Dengan nama Tuhan Yang maha Esa(=by the bless of God) Bank Indonesian mengeluarkan (= Indonesia Bank maded) uang (= money) sebagai alat pembayaran yang sah (= as the legal payment tool) dengan nilai(=with ammount of) .....Rupiah.
But then i check the coins, it's the same only name of the symbol. May be not enough space.
I wonder coin with the "In god we trust" looks like..

The coins that have in god we trust in our currency are silver, this one (in the picture above) is gold because of it being a dollar, I can only assume. In god we trust is written on the top above the presidents head for whichever coin it is!

This is a really good discussion baby and I am sure that there are a lot of people put there who have different opinions when it comes to the new dollar coin,and I know there are a lot of people out there who are either not from America or do not believe in God,I personally think it is a load of crap that they want to release a new coin without In God We Trust on it,because we are a nation under God,and I do think we should refuse the coin,and I know if someone tried to give the coin to me I would give it back and demand a dollar bill instead,and I remember when you read the email your aunt sent you to me,I hope everyone out there refuses the coin as well even though the coin will probably fail anyway like the Susan B Anthony dollar,the Silver Dollar and the other attempts,I love you with all my heart and soul,have a great day,good luck when it comes to all your mylotting,especially the tasks,and Happy Posting.

I am glad that we both feel the same way about the coins not having "in god we trust" on them, and I hope that we can make a difference by refusing them. I know neither of us have come across it, nor have we heard any other news about it. Maybe they stopped making them, but I guess no one really knows whether they did or not. Hello SomeCowgirl! That's awful. That's not right? If I am from the United States too, I would not accept the money. What happen to the people? Why is it that they started to erase God in their lives? I am very sad to hear this. I hope that this won't continue and just stay with the old one dollar bill with a word in God we trust. amen.

No I don't think it's right that their are new dollar coins that do not have in god we trust on them. I am not sure why people are starting to not believe in god but I think it's awful. I appreciate the response!

I agree with not accepting these coins. Yes our money says in god we trust. The way I look at is just because it says god is not a problem. People may not believe in the same god but who ever they believe in is a god for them so it should not offend anyone what the money says.

People made such a fuss about the phrase IN GOD WE TRUST not being on these new coins that now they have started to print it around the edge of the coin, and if you have any that do not have it printed on them some people are paying crazy amounts of money for them in pawn shops and on ebay. The government tried to say that it was a misprint that they did not intend to leave the phrase off, Yeah right!!
