The team who won the toss won in all the five matches of the India-sri lanka series.. Do you feel that the toss played a crucial role in deciding the winner of the series?

i too feel toss is just an add on to you attitude with which you are going to play. one cant win that games only if the teams wins the toss. Today i didnt see any attitude to win in India. They won the series and so they were calm, tryin their bench strength and giving world chance to let us know about the weakness of our bench.

Toss is just a psychological advantage for a side winning it,but as i see, today Srilanka played to their best ,from every aspect of their cricket.I dont see this Indian team being frustrated about the toss ,its just that sometimes a winning team goes through some ordinary performances once in a while, but that happened today because lot of new players had come to the last 2 odi's and team India's bowling was a little down. But I am sure they will bounce back in the next upcoming series Cheers! Vishwas

Yes upto some extent but the team which win the toss has to perform also, if not what is the point in winning the toss. Toss plays important role if pitch is poor, for suppose if pitch gets some help for bowlers in the intial half of the innings then the team winning toss will bowl first. So, pitch should be in such a way that both team gets equal chances and if that happens then toss will not play much factor in deciding the fate of the match..

toss may be an important factor in a cricket match but teams wins on their game plan and talent of their players and how they execute their game plan on a given day. I think India was far better than Sri lanka in this series and would have won with same margin even if coin stopped at other side.
