How much have immigrants changed your community?

I guess in the way we cook is one of the main positives as here in Australia we were not very adventurous when it came to food, I think in most cases it is positive but there have been a few negative things of late when immigrants bring the bad things they should have left behind and then expect the people of their new country change to their way...I do get a little sick of being told we can;t do things because it might offend those who came here from another country.
