What are you getting your Valentine?

Are you getting your sweetheart something frivolous or something useful for Valentines day? Are you going out for dinner or are you going to fix something to eat at home?

I'm making him something. He said we shouldn't spend money on each other this year. so I made a little booklet and I was writing him letters in it every day til valentines day.

I don't think I would buy anything for my partner. Our relationship was really in trouble lately and I don't think I could celebrate the valentine day with her. I would rather have a quality time to be spent together with her. Seems it is so hard to keep her around lately.

I am not doing anything for valentines day, even though I do have a boyfriend. The reason why we are not doing anything is because we live a few thousand miles away from each other, it makes it a bit difficult to have a nice Valentines day get together if you know what I mean. Perhaps we will make up lost time when he visits me next towards the end of the year. I really hope the year goes fast so I can see him soon! Darn that Swedish navy that is holding him back from me haha. Ah well, time will pass and I will be with him soon enough anyway .

I think Valentine's Day is a nice excuse to appreciate your partner, but we don't go crazy with gifts. I usually buy my boyfriend a nice card and some silly stuff, like little candies and small stuff that I know he likes :D We usually don't go out to dinner or anything, because you have to wait so long for a table and the food's not that great, the service isn't any good, etc. :)
