What would you do without mylot?

Imagine one day, you go on the internet and come to mylot and you see instead of the mylot homepage, a "page not found error" and a message stating mylot has close, sorry for the inconvenience. What would your reaction be? How would you feel? Since many of you spend a lot of time here, what would you do with all the extra time you if mylot disappeared? Also, many of us have made lots of good friends on mylot. How would you contact them? Would you even try to find them again? I'm looking forward to your responses and happy mylotting everyone!

I would also do the same thing. I could not imagine what I would do without mylot. I would keep my computer on and keep refreshing that page while I do other stuff. I would most likely wake up in the middle of the night as well just to check on it. I, too, would definitely do some research to make sure it wasn't officially closed. Happy mylotting and let's hope this never happens!

You are a very creative thinker. The questions you raised here are typical of representing the pursuit of the younger younger generation. When some people are doubting the presence of teenagers on an adult site, I am actually ashamed that most adults do not bother to think beyond themselves, and their adjacent community. Your questions are expanding to the IT scientists and engineers development potentials to satisfy the curiosity and requirements of their new target customers. I fear the disappearance of the site. I was thinking about making copies of my discussions and feedbacks and also my responses to others' discussions. And also the profiles of my friends, for purpose of memory in case mylot disappears, when I will have much more time for walking, and shopping. Kidding, only.

Thank you. I don't know what to say. Back on topic, I think making copies would be a great idea if we had the time. I do not think you should fear the disappearance of this site, as you put it because to my knowledge, it has been here for over 3 years and I see no reason why it will not stay here any longer. At least, I hope it will stay, as do many other members. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting!

I would be very upset if I tried to get on to My Lot and it kept saying to me page not found. It would be even more distressing if there was a notice saying sorry My Lot is ending today. I would be so sad and miss all my friends that I have made. If I knew My Lot was closing later this week I would send messages to my friends asking for their email addresses. I would find life difficult without My Lot to go on every day that it possible to go on to it. I might even cry a bit to see My Lot close.

I have not heard anyone say yet that they would "cry," even though I would get very emotional, I would try not to. I would also ask my friends as soon as I could for their contact information so I could stay in contact with them off mylot. I would share your sadness, as would hundreds of other mylotters. But don't worry, this will not happen! So be happy! Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting!

I'd stick my nose into other forums I visit and go from there, granted they don't pay like MyLot but I've been there tooo long and have many friends to keep tabs on ;)

Well, if mylot is gone then I will not be surprised, I will maintain my blog or my website, which definitely needs a update. I am very lazy about my blog. I am not very much regular at mylot. I Don't even spend too much time at mylot, but now I am planing to be regular at mylot. Now, I am loving it, specially that people over here. But one thing I don't like when I start a discussion and don't get much positive response. Thats why I don't start my own discussion. I just respond to others discussion which they have started it.

I would also just keep on blogging and try very hard to move on with my life. However, I blog for mylot so I do not know what I would do then. I spend quite a lot of time here and you will too, especially if you plan on being a regular on mylot. That is a great that you are loving mylot. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting!

Yes, I guess it has and that just makes it harder to let go, even if I am forced to do so. Sooner or later, it will become part of your life if you do not control your passion for mylot.

Mylot has become a part of your life now. I mean leaving the earning thing aside you're having loads of fun... Plus money is kinda bonus for you. I mean when some one love doing something then it becomes a part of there life.

I would probably get more done around the house! As far as the people. I have had great conversations with some great people, but I would not try to keep in touch. I don't really think of the web as part of the world. The person you talk to is not necessarily they are.

I think I would not try to keep in touch as well except a few I have become close friends with. That is very true. People are not always who we think they are. I would keep in touch through emails if I did keep in touch as I would never give away my phone number and other contact information. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting!

Morning snam! Now what are you thinking today? Please don't even suggest such a situation, especially at breakfast! I would miss myLot and all the laughs and smiles I have here. I am in contact offline with many of the users I have met here so I would not lose contact with most of them and maybe through them I could find the ones that I would lose (I am making a mental note to request contact info from those who would be greatly missed) Some of my friends here have blogs so I think I would be able, by hook or by crook, to find most of them. I doubt there would be another site like myLot though I am aware of some that have tried to copy it. I would be lost if it disappeared suddenly but no doubt something would come up to take it's place. I have an idea too but I will inform only if it should happen - which it won't! Happy Lotting snam!

I will keep that in mind in the future. Well, there is always a forum on 2 of my blogs that I promote often so I am sure we could somehow get in touched. I hope this never happens though, as it would break my heart.

It wasn't breakfast when I started this discussion! That is good that you are in contact with most of the users you have met here. I do not think you and I are contact offline. That is a good idea to find the rest through the ones you already know. I agree that a site like mylot is not easy to find. Happy mylotting to you also!

oh ma god,it's really difficult for me.It's like having a fasting day for one day.Hope most of the mylotters feel the same way as i do.It's like another seperate world. The most happiest thing in ma life is ma family until 20 years old.I would do anything and sacrifice anything to share ma happy times with ma family members and now it is along with mylot too.i would sacrifice anything to spend those two hours of mylotting whether it is ma sleep or chatting with ma friends ,whatever it is ,i just love to be here and enjoy myself on posting some replies and starting up new discussions and so on.According to me,it is just a wonderful creation and this is a great site that gives us ample of knowledge regarding various subjects and provides a way to earn as well.i could hardly find these kind of sites and long live mylot.regards to all mylotters who are feeling the same way as i am

That is a great way to describe it. I think many, if not all mylot members feel the same way about mylot as you do. I, for one, definitely feel the same way and would also give up any thing to be on here. Mylot is such a great place for all the reasons you stated and more. Happy mylotting!

My lot is a place where i am able to write on topics that interests me. i write my thoughts as well as ideas on it. the day this website vanishes will be really a tough time for me to spend time over the internet. there are quite a few sites where i rely the most to write on. and my lot is one of them... here i have though only made 1 friend but there are quite a number of people who responds to my discussions as well as they expect me to participate in their discussions.so, i think we should give our friends our mail ids or contact numbers to stay in touch with each other. if we really want to... But I think its a great site.so, won't close that quickly...:)

I would miss Mylot a lot. Not just for money, but for the work I do here. I really enjoy reading people's views and then responding to their questions. So, if MyLot was gone one day, I would really freak out. The loss of mylot friends would be a bit too much. And, obviously, I would miss out on the money I had in my account. However, I know that these things are not going to happen - ever, because mylot is such a trustworthy site :)

I would also freak out and overreact for days. I would feel lost without my friends on mylot as well. I would miss the discussions more than anything, even the money. You are right, mylot is a very trustworthy site and there is a very slim chance of this happening. Thanks for responding and happy mylotting!

Then life will be back to normal. I will do something else except for posting in mylot. It will be sad that mylot is not available. I will miss here and my friends. And I may lose some people's contact since I don't have their emails. I love China

That is a hypothetical question which I have not given thought of until now. I would certainly miss my friends and a few others who are not on my friends' list. A few of them can be found somewhere else because they use the same usernames. As for the rest I may find thme if they are still around. In my case I may go to other forums or discussion boards. On the other hand I may focus on something else like blogs. It all depends on the situation. all the best, rosdimy

I can also be found elsewhere as well as I use the same username almost everywhere I go so I am sure you could find me. I also have a chat box/forum on my blog so we could also communicate that way as well. I think we could find each other and others at other discussion boards and forums as well. Happy mylotting!

well, it`s not too bad, because i will send e-mails to the admin ,and bother him every day with a lot of questions until he will promise me that he will resolve the problem a.s.a.p . But i`m sure that mylot will remain up for a long time from now, because it`s one of the best sites that will pay you just for talking. So, more then ever, now with this crisis i think that people will join in large number, because now, all it`s welcomed, even if it`s $1 / day!

I think mylot is run by more than one admin unlike traditional forums because it would be very hard to manage mylot by yourself but of course, that is just what I think. I would try that also, although I do not know how you would send emails if the site was closed and you had no access to anything on the site. Happy mylotting!

If mylot website is closed then i will feel very bad because it is a great social networking website which pays you for your opinions, expressions, information, knowledge and thoughts.Well i have joined it a few days back and finding this site very helpful in giving vent to my feelings and emotions.I will wish that the site reopens again and i will wait but if it does not happen then i will search for other networking website where you can air your views and opinions. Happy mylotting and pray for its continuity till eternity.
