Do you use a mouse with your laptop? Depsite I have been using a laptop for the past months, I failed to grasp the idea of using he laptop pad. I find it not user friendly and really annoys me. So I d' prefer to use a laptop using a mouse. Have you managed to grasp the idea of using the laptop pad?

I am not using the mouse for laptop. No need to use the mouse for laptop. In the laptop laptop pad is safe for me; because by using the mouse some times laptop is hanging. because after completing the work we will reject the mouse. so don't use mouse.

Hi ya ronaldinu I don't use a mouse with my laptop at all. It came with a mouse but I never really used it because it was so small but just right for the kids! I am totally used to using the pad and now when I go to college on a Friday I forget and am trying to use the pad!!

Hi ronaldinu, I have been using my laptop for nearly a year. I find it's not smoothly to use it, for I'm quite accustomed to use mouse when using desktop before. It's difficult for me to manage it. I I feel reluctant to use the touch pad anymore as I don't want to spend extra time to get used of it. I prefer to a use a mouse so that I could do my computing work more handy and easy as well. I used an optical mouse all the time until I received a wireless laser mouse by the end of last year. Yeah, it's a birthday gift from my son. Since then I use it until the present moment Happy posting

I actually have grown accustomed on using the laptop's touch pad whenever it doesn't have a mouse. More often, I use short-cut keys to make my computer navigation and commands more easy. I even think that if I know all the short-cut keys, I wouldn't need a mouse at all.. well, that's still not a certainty but, a big convenience, I think..

Before I bought my new laptop, I did not use an extra mouse for the previous laptop as I was used to the red button mouse, but with the new laptop, I find it hard to get used to the touch mouse. So I use an extra mouse for it as it is more convenient for me.

I am used to not using a laptop mouse ever since I touched a laptop. I am getting the hang of it though.

But Ronal, I have been using my laptop pad for the last three years since I have taken my laptop! I find it quite convenient as well as user friendly. Even my laptop pad has been carrying wear and tear mark for the last two years! Thanks for this nice posting and have a good day!

For some time I used the laptop mouse. However, the longer I used it, the faster I got tired of it. I just hated trying to play games or something with the mouse. The mouse makes it so difficult to use. So, for Christmas, I asked for and recieved a mouse that I can plug into my USB port to use. I love having it. It's wireless and it makes using my computer so much easier.

i dont have my own laptop, but i have used some and i dont think that it is difficult but it takes some time to adjust to the change....when i had new desktop this time, he suggested wireless mouse but that too was also feeling very strange and there were minor problems so i switched again to the wired one.

I always use a mouse with my laptop. I just find it much easier to use than the touchpad. I do a lot of digital drawings so it takes half the time to complete the work with a mouse (but a tablet is quicker).

I'm with you, ronaldinu. Ever since I've had my own computer they've always been laptops and for the life of me I hate the mouse pad on the keyboard. It's not very ergonomical or speedy. For that reason I've always used an external mouse. It's so much easier to use. It seems that you need 3 hands in order to use the mouse pad on the keyboard of a laptop. Ridiculous! The more people I meet the more I love my cat :) Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

Hello. We are the same, i find it annoying also. I do not use the laptop pad since i find it hard to use. A mouse is always present whenever i use my laptop. What annoys me also is that my laptop pad easily heats up and if i use it even for just a moment, i could get a burn on my finger (exaggerating..:D) For me, to easily manage your laptop, a mouse is a must. :D

I know how you feel..I had to use my moms laptop when I was visiting her and it is so totally different then I am use to.. I love my mouse I can hold in my hand and use it. I am hoping that she will get a mouse and plus it into the laptop since it has a spot to do so. I will probably loan her my extra mouse if I have to..better then that mouse pad...driving me nuts..lol

I use a wireless mouse with my laptop. I can use the touch pad but it's annoying at times. I find I can navigate faster and easier with the mouse. I very seldom use my laptop as it is but when I do, I definitly prefer a mouse.

I have a desk top computer myself, but have used other people's lap tops and have found using the 'pad' with one's finger quite easy after a little practice. Have had my desk top computer a few years now, having only replaced the monitor with a flat screen a couple years ago. This does me fine. When it comes time to replace though, I will consider all the options available, including laptops and possibly buy a mobile internet subscription too, for when I'm away. Have to say though, that I don't usually desperately miss my computer when away!

I use a wireless mouse with my laptop, because it's easier to control and your hand won't be squished all in the center of your keyboard. The laptop pad does come in handy when you're doing really small "strokes", like when im photoshopping, the smaller brush movements will require the use of my laptop pad.

Laptop pad is not easy to use at all. It is a good facility for users and an alternative to mouse but it is not easier to use. i prefer using an external standard mouse of small size when use laptop
