I'm personally in a rut - I haven't really met anyone interesting in a while, and I'm a little confused as to where and how I can meet someone I'm truly interested in. Where did YOU meet your valentine? And under what circumstances? :)

We actually met in junior high probably about 12 years ago. We started 'going out' in high school and then broke up shortly after. We tried again and then broke it off for a long time and went our separate ways for several years. We both realized that we were meant to be together and reunited about four years ago, bought our house three years ago and then got engaged a little over one year ago. He's definitely meant to be my Valentine, and will be for the rest of my life!

I met my Valentine while we were living in the same apartment complex. I was eyeing him, he was eyeing me (though I hadn't known it at the time), and a friend of mine gave me the courage to speak out to him one day. If it wasn't for her I don't think I would have ever had the guts to do what I did and my husband and I never would have met.

Aw! That's so cute (in an Audrey Hepburn sort of way). :) And don't you just love friends? What else are they good for, but breaking the ice between you & future romantic prospects? ;)

My valentine is my boyfriend! I met him, about 11 months ago. I was at his friends place cause his friend actually like me, but I was kind of annoyed by his friend and didn't like him that way. I was going to leave soon, when my now-boyfriend finally started talking to me. And I fell for him instantly.

Well, I didn't have a valentine the past "day of the hearts". But I did met my last valentine which was my ex in junior prom. Funny story, I was invited by a girl to be her date in her school and she left really early during the prom.(Kind of like 11pm) I stayed because my friends were still there. It came to the point that I was tired dancing and I decided to go outside and I saw her with her blue dress on the swing. I approached the unoccupied swing beside her and asked her where her date is and she answered why and she asked me the same question. Our conversation went on and on until 3am. My friends even left me because the thought I already left. Then after that day, I always went to her school just to see her and time passed by we were already dating. too bad we broke up though.. well.. that's life. belated happy valentines!

I met my valentine online. I was making a yahoo profile for a fantasy basketball league i was joining and I didnt have a yahoo id so i was making one. My friend showed me that you can "connect" with people you know on there, you can browse through peoples profiles and then essentially send them a friend request. Well, after i had added my friend on there i was looking through some more profiles and I came across the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. So I skipped sending her a friend request and just added her id to my list and said "Hi" and to my amazement she responded. She changed my life immensely. We do live in different countries, she lives in the philippines while I live in the U.S. so it is hard at times being so far apart, but I love her more than anything and I would do anything for her. We pray everyday that God will let us meet soon, but we are waiting for that moment with anticipation :) But She is my valentine now and always will be :)

hi maezee, Happy post valentine to you! I met my valentine, year 2007.I was not expecting that time that we will be turning as boyfriend and girlfriend. He saw my profile on a particular site and send a friend request to me.I accepted it and that was the start of our friendship.Whenever I will not be online, he calls me on phone and ask me how I am. He is so good, that even all of my family members enjoy chatting with him.He courted me and it not last long till I said "yes" on him.It is not that difficult to fall in love to him because I can say that he has a good heart. He is always there for me, not only on happy moments but sad moments as well. I can say that he is truly an angel of mine. He is also my greatest supporter. He believes in my abilities and always encourage me with his words.Although, we are in long distance relationship, it doesn't become a hindrance for us to feel happy in our relationship. There is always the trust, respect and love for each other. We also have our date virtually last valentine.. We sent each other a valentine card. And in addition, we spend long hours chatting with each other. It is not so many times that we can chat long because of our busy schedule. And having a long hours chatting is really pleasing.
