Hello, I have one for security reasons. If my car breaks down I like to be able to call a tow truck or a family member to pick me up

I got my first cell phone in 1993 because I worked 30 miles away from my home. I didn't want to feel like I was alone if my car gave me trouble

Hello,Sunil! Besides serving the purpose of communication you can use it as your clock. You can know the date and time from it.You can use it as an alarm clock. You can even take a photograph of some special events you encounter as a proof if you have that facility in your mobile phone. You can also hear music from the mobile phone(FM radio).thanx.

It's a comfort! Today world has became very opened and fast, and mobile phones give a chance to get in touch with someone you need to. Mobile phones have the same importance as Internet does. I really couldn't imagine my life without a cell phone anymore.. Maybe it's sad but that's a fact.

..well, actually mobile phones are really made for communication purposes.. It is also useful in storing data such as reminders.. I think those are the main use of mobile phones.. They are being use this days in a negative way.. they use mobile phones to trigger bombs which is very harmful to humans..

If you mean Mobile phone... I was able to never be lonely, if a emergency was going on it would be very quick for me to call, and if I was late somewhere I could call my boss and let them know I am stuck at the railroad crossing and hold the phone out the window so they could hear the train wheels grinding the tracks to know its the truth :D ... The Main advantage of having it there to for emergencies, of unexpects events... Emergencies, or change of plans... or to help prevent your family or friends worrying about you. I liked the hands free or voice option, as I loved taking the phone into the woods with me so my friends could hear over the phone, the wildlife I always love to share about.. I was not as isolated when I had a mobile phone I could get out of the house and away from the family and actually talk with my friends in privacy, text messenging, instant messaging too so when I needed a break form the computer I could still keep in touch with my friends no matter where I was. - DNatureofDTrain
