Prisons are being run by the inmates

The 9th District Court (Federal) in California has ruled that California has to release 57,000 prisoners because the prisons are overcrowded and inmates can not get the medical attention they need. The ruling stated that the prisoners have a Constitutional Right to medical care. I think that California should buy the housed around each of these judges and place as many of the prisoners as they can in those housed. These judges live in La La land. The Prisoners right to medical care is more important than the law abiding peoples right safety. Maybe it is time to bring back the chain gangs and put them people to work. They seem to have too much time on their hands. Maybe some fresh air and work would be good for their health.

Actually, I use to know a guy who spent some time behind bars. He claimed the inmates had a lot more to do with how things were done than people realized. This was because there were too many prisoners, not enough guards, and the court system has the guards hamstrung as to when they can use force.

As a Principal I saw that in schools. Teachers telling the administration how things would be done. They had a union and the administration was alone. The joke among administrators was the teachers were here before and will be here afterwards. It is easier to let the prisoners go than to fight the government.
