I love play the shooting guard position. I am nicknamed after Sasha Vugagic ( I hope I spelled it right ) because I am so deadly on my 3 point shots. My teammates and even my coach calls me The "Machine" . I love just shooting the ball. If I have an open lane, I would probably like to shoot the three. My coach, in the middle of the game sees that I have an open lane. He tells me to drive it in but then, I look at him and shoot a 3 pointer. Swish like nothing. If I had missed, I would have sat out, but my coach just sat out and took in his anger. That experience was pretty funny for me. My technique is just catch and shoot. Ocassionally, I would pump fake, drive, and step back and shoot a three in his eye and leaving him looking on how good he can guard me but I try to be like Kobe!

All my life i've played the point gaurd position, i could do everything a point gaurd could do to and more. I was a pretty decent midrange shooter but, i really enjoyed shooting from downtown, i love the three point shot. I was very fast and i had decent quickness, i was an ok passer, when i had the ball and the other player was open, i always got the ball to the open man. I remember in junior high i was the starting point gaurd on my team, i got two steals in one game and an assist, sometimes i didn't get much playing time. I was always a great defender, i love reaching in and grabbing for steals and i keen awareness of everyone while defending, you could say, i was a defensive stopper. I didn't get the ball much though because i was always kind of small and guys though i couldn't do anything, i definitely couldn't hang with the 20 and 30 years olds. But when i was with guys my age and younger, i played lots of defense, in fact one of my friends said that i was the only one playing defense. And i was playing with this one group of guys and this one guy said, he was talking about me and he said, "He's only like this wide, but he can play". In almost every game of five on five game that i played in, i got at least one steal. I evtually declined in my abilities though, i can't shoot any more, i forgot how, but i can still play defense and i'm still fast and quick, if i would have made it to the nba, i'd still be playing, probably as a second or third stringer. They'd put me in for defensive purposes, I can play the 2 but i perfer the one, i have the defensive of baron davis and the speed and quickness of chris paul. And i'm just about shaq's age.

I'm pretty tall but i'm not really big like weight I'm only 200 pounds, so I like to use that to my advantage and play more perimeter style and drive more, since I normally get slower, bigger guys guarding me. And if I get a little guy, I can post him up, although I'm not as strong as I probably should be, and so sometimes ex-football players can give me trouble: quick and strong. But I can shoot decent so I'm more of an outside player.

I play point guard, I get my teammates involved before I get involved. I'm also a deadly 3 point shooter. I play defense very well, I block shots, I love to rebound over guys that are taller than me, and I can take your cookies quick. I am one of the best passer in the league. That's the kind of game I had.

hi jeremy. i play a two guard position. but it rather prefer to be a ball handler than a shooter. i would have to play shooter only if there is a better ball handler than me. my techniques of wining the game is two things rebound and hustle. these two things a very wise coach taught me once. as he said rebound means your opponent is missing shots and your team is getting second chance opportunity for points. i really like the way i was taught to play ball. reminds me of the good times.

I normally play PG or SG. I am a ball hogger at times so I need to make shot at certain time. While saying that...I sometimes go for the drive. I am learning to pass more often so that everyone gets a better look at the shot. I prefer to layup than to shot as it requires not much deep thinking but when I can feel that I can make my shot I will pull out from long and make the basket.

I use to play defense position all time.Since I am not so tall I choose this position always. Moreover I can dribble the ball well and can pass on the ball to the team members easily. So,I play defense and help others to get the ball in their position.Cheers!

well, your idea is good in basketball, helping others get the ball in their good spot position for a score point, it is teamwork, you've got the talent to be a captain ball, and you are a defensive player, that most coaches like it so much, so keep it up.

I play point/shooting guard... opposite of boy_bato my shooting's pretty bad so I try to slash and drive to the basket for a layup/floater or try to dish to an open teammate

playing guard its quite difficult, you should have lots of stamina, speed and ball handling techinique, like those crossed over, allen iverson killer crossover....so you can keep the ball away to the defender.... try to improve your shooting skills it might help you alot.

I am just 168 cm so the best position for that is a point guard, I love to dribble especially crossover dribble coz I like to see my opponents break ankles, I mean not to break their ankle but to blind them off saying.." where'd he go".
