Which one would you prefer to order? A thin crust pizza or a thick pan crust.

i prefer the pan crust pizza, strawberry. the thin crust one is crunchy, yes, but it is too difficult to bite into it. it feels like hardened biscuit. also, since it is too thin, it feels like i am only getting a taste of the toppings. with the pan crust pizza, there is a good mix of the bread and the toppings. chewing on the food is much easier and thus makes it more fun eating it, too. this explains why my household loves to partake of the pan crust pizza always.

thank you for the best response mark, strawberry. we are both very much alike in being good pizza lovers.

oooohhhh! mmmmmmm! Let's not talk about pizza right now I am soooo starving. I like hand tossed. It is kind of a medium between thin and thick. I think the thick is to much bread and the thin just tastes like cardboard.

same with me here, baileycows. i feel the same about the thin crust pizza. it feels like cardboard. it is quite difficult to be chewing on it. and it doesn't taste like the way food should be anymore. when the dough is the thick one, it is so easy to compromise the taste. just add more and more toppings. then, you get a great tasting pizza just the same. however, this will become too filling for the tummy already. when this happens, we have to bring some home. we can always reheat the good tasting pizza the following morning, after it has been fed to the fridge for overnight care.

Pan crust is the only way. The whole point of pizza is the crust! It's multi-purposeful! It serves as handlebar, topping-keeper-onner, flavor enhancer, cushions the pizza in the box, reinforces the strength so the pizza doesn't droop all over your hand: thin crust has absolutely none of those redeeming qualities, ergo, thin crust is absolutely useless as a pizza option.

I would have to go with the thick crust, as long as its not "too" thick! Although, I wouldnt turn down a thin crust pizza either! I love pizza, no matter what the style!lol. Especially when its left over for a night.. only gets better and better..lol.

i like the thin crust pizza because the pan crust tastes too much bread i could not appreciate the toppings. but my latest addiction is the deep dish pizza.

I prefer pan crust. Thin is ok, but for me it's too crunchy. I like my crust to be nice and soft. I don't like it to be too thick, but I'd rather it be thicker than thinner. Maybe it's just that my mom likes pan, so that's just what I got used to as a kid.

I like both of them, I'm a huge Pizza fan but I'm trying to loose some weight so every sunday when we have pizza we get thin crust so we have less dough.

I like the pan crust, especially when it is filled with cheese. Unfortunately, the only pizzeria which filled the crust with cheese got closed and I don't want to wander around the city in search of pan crust cheese filled pizza! Excellent discussion by the way!
