What plans have you tried? Did you have success with them? Were you able to maintain your weight loss?

I have been on and off of Weight Watchers. It works if you stay on it and don't just count points. You have to watch what you eat with those points...my opinion.

This is true - I don't believe that you can just fill your points with a lot of junk.

You name it, I have done it. I did weight watchers with great success. It is all about being accountable for me. When I have to weigh in infront of someone else, I tend to stick to the plan. Right now I am trying the cleanse and the acaiberry pill. Just starting with the pill today, but have doing the cleanse for the past 3 days. I have lost 2 pounds. When I want to take weight off quick I go with ATkins, but know that the weight will come back on once I eat a carb. I guess we all know the answer to what works~ eat less, exercise more.

I totally agree - it all comes down to what we put in our mouths!

I've worked for two different weight loss centers, one helped to make balanced food choices and had one on one counseling. This method was great for those for whom it was important to cook and prepare their own food. Most important about this place - their was a cirquit training room included in the cost as it was owned by someone who owned a small gym. Exercise is key as if you start eating balanced but don't add exercise your weight goes down and your body fat percentage goes up. My book learning in this was supported by the weight and fat measurements of clients who exercised and those who did not. The other key was maintenance programs. We didn't abandon clients after their weight loss as many either go back to old habits or need help with social situations. Or just need the accountability a bit longer. I also worked for Jenny Craig, where clients get real food like pizza and pasta - most of it yummy (some really gross) and its for those who don't want to think about it! They just want to lose weight every week and not worry about counting calories or portions. However the portions become second nature. Again, the key component of maintenance comes into play. If you just go back to to old habits then you'll gain the weight right back and more. And wind up spending much more money then the maintenance program. I guess the best thing depends on you. But balance is the key and exercise. The best think about the latter is that - for those who haven't been exercising for years - whatever you do at first will make a huge difference - walking further across the parking lot to the store, taking the stairs - that you haven't been doing that is. But after a month or so - I suggest shaking it up. Curves is a lot of fun. And each station only last thirty seconds. I loved it when I was a member. Just make sure the "trainers" know what they're talking about it. Or watch the tapes yourself. You start slow then as you've been going you go faster. And the boards, no matter what they say, are for recovery not for aerobics. You raise your heart rate in the machines. Oh and I did Jenny Craig - because I don't like to think about it! And maintained it until I had a baby. Now I need to go back.

I did weightwatchers for about a minute after my daughter was born. I have also tried Slim-Fast. Best thing for me is a bit of exercise and portion control. It's the only thing I found that works for me.

I did WW several times through the years - several different versions of it - but I don't particularly care for the parading everyone through to weight thing - reminds me of when we run the cattle through the scale to see how much they've gained!

Hi all! I have lost weight by following the methods which am gonna mention.Never skip your braekfast for any reason.Regular walking keeps you fit. Before going for walking drink two glass of luke warm water and go for walking. This gives you better result orelse you can drink water in which little lime juice and honey are added.I have tried this and its working. Then dont skip your dinner too.Atleast have spme little amount of food before going for bed.Reagular exercise and little diet keeps you fit all time.if you dont have time to go for walking outside you can get a treadmill at home or even you can do some work at home.Avoid taking oily foods. This all surely will give you better result..
