Yesterday on the news A young 19 year old man asked the President Obama when he could expect a higher paying job, he works for McDonald and saw no help in sight. He was so charming you couldn't help but love him. Well today he has a new better job, See what a little TV exposure can do for you. Would you be ready if you got that chance?

Hi savypat, I would welcome any chance to better my situation. Previously with the past few days my b/f has been going to a web site to listen to live steaming music online and he has been making requests for songs. The dj has been impressed with the music he has been requesting he is sending information on doing his own online live steaming music. I had to think of a name for myself because I have been giving my b/f different types of music for him to make some of the requests. I hope this works out for my b/f, he will give me the recognition for his site.

Hey pat! I don't know if I would have been ready! So what kind of job did he get? I think it is great that he was able to do that for himself and was able to get something out of it for speaking up. I wish that it was that easy for everyone to get ahead like that.

Well, it depends on what the chance is...if you mean a chance to talk to the President, no I wouldn't want to talk to him. If you mean a chance to better a situation, then sure. I think it's great that the guy got a better job too. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

The boy must be very courageous to ask President Obama such a very personal question. It shows this boy has the will and smartness to go public over his plight and the president see it fit to get him a better paying job. Why not, given the chance I would do likewise as it is the only effective way to be heard by the most powerful man of the country and at the right time.

Speaking up for our self has always been a good way of getting noticed either the rude way or the nice way but of course I choose the nice way. I will definitely grab the chance to ask questions on how the President could help me with my life in any way.

I would be ready, yes. In our area, the news has a segment each day where a person can briefly tell of their skills and what kind of employment they seek. I admire that our area is always ready with ways to help others! Karen
