What vitamin C brand should I get? I have a problem with acid reflux so I dont need to aggravate it. But I would like to take a supplement of vitamin c. Any recommendations?

Vitamin C can trigger acid reflux so best to discuss with your doctor in regards to taking vitamin C supplement. I believe that supplements might do more harm than good if you have acid reflux syndrome. Vitamin C are found in foods that are natural although some mayb trigger aswell your acid reflux, you need to limit your intake some of them. But if your doctor might let you take it, you may have to take it in small doses.

we are taking fern-c at home. all of us in the household are taking this particular product. it has zero acidity with 500 mg vitamin c to a capsule. it has been very effective in our needs for the vitamin c supplement. per our experience with the product, i can recommend its use without any shade of doubt on this.

I have the same problem with acid reflex. Sometimes I drink Fuze. It has a lot of vitamins in it. But I don't know what kind of vitamin c tablet to take. I stopped taking them.

I have seen that drink. So Fuze doesnt bother your acid reflux? Maybe I will try that.

in the philippines, this type of vitamin c is available under the trade name of fern-c. there is another one but, i have totally forgotten its trade name. there are lots of vitamin c rich foods and fruits which are not acidic. water melons (like pakwan, cantaloupe or melon), grapes, apples, etc. are rich in vitamin c. you can have plenty of these fruits and vegetables without fear of getting to be acidic.

I may just have to stick with the fruits and not bother with the extra vitamin c. A fresh orange doesnt bother my stomach but if I drink the juice it causes lots of problems.

I take Ester-C, a natural vitamin C manufactured by Now Foods (Bloomingdale, Il, USA). It is a vegetarian formula containing Calcium ascorbate, bioflavonoids, acerola, rose hips and rutin. I have taken this for 5 years now. It has not caused me acidity problem.
