I am just getting confused now. I wanted to have a laptop or desktop for home use. But one person, who is my wife don't want me to buy the stuff for the following two reasons: Our electricity bill will sure goes up. And additional expenses for DSL/phone line. Now I wish to get some good and bad parts of these two phone models, N95 or E61? Can you help me decide? Thanks...

hi neil! I have always been a fan of Nseries.. but since they are both series 60 third edition, I guess there wont be too much difference on applications that could be installed in them. But if I were to choose, I would choose N95. Well I consider it more elegant, and I like the style better than E61. And I think I would find it difficult to use E61's keypad..

You know one thing about E61 is its full keyboard feature. But then, N95 has a 5Mega pixel camera while the other one has none...

I don't think a laptop or a desktop can add a big sum with electric bill,i had both desktop and laptop and ps3 where my kids uses same time connected to the internet, but it doesn't affect our electric bill that much.I can say electric fans consumes more electricity than the said gadgets my friend. And regarding mobile phone,i love my N95 it's camera is very useful with 5megapixels and 8GB memory so what can i ask for.

dear jaiho. it canbe true that electric fans consume more electricity than those gadgets. with the phones, what i miss with e61, as i have it now, is the camera only. it has a complete keyboard and a ,uch wider monitor than n95. whenit comes to pictures, i use my previous phone which my wife uses now or a digital cam of a friend. then i go to my desktop in the office to transfer the files and then upload if necessary... neil

Hi neil, I don;t think the computer will use up that much electricity, but I don't understand much about phones though. Hugs. Tamara

hi neil! i certainly agree with spoiledbrat! a pc is definitely much better. while i am using E51 - its wifi connection impressed me so much i can browsed wherever i can! especially no that malls and coffee shops and restaurants are offering free wifi, i enjoy this as much as i can with my E51 Nokia phone. But then again, nothing beats a pc. if you can, laptop is definitely better. ! hope you were able to choose which one best suits your need...

dear ysabel. for me, laptop is really the best. you cannot compare your performance when it comes to productivity using laptop, pc with a mobile phone. but then again, the issue is money. i already have e6R for some months now and i a kinda satisfied now. thanks for the respond and happy mylotting... neil

dear narvech. i know you can have it. and i wish you luck. if that comes, choose the newer model, e62 or e73 i guess. those have almost the same features, monitor size, the keyboard and everything. they also have cam which my e61 don't have, one that i am missing, but not too much.

I haven't used any one of these phones, but you can always try browsing for phone reviews. Online cellphone reviews are always helpful. Why not buy an iphone their price range are similar. I think it's much better than those two. Btw, your wife is right about the bills though. Before I bought my desktop pc our electric bill was less than a thousand and when the pc was in use our bills changed to 1,200. The phone bill was also doubled. The good thing about this, is that it is more comfortable to use than a smartphone.
