Post Count

I've also noticed that I'll have posted let's say 5 posts and my post number does not change. Does Mylot just lag and will it be there later? Or is that they count every post? It's very frustrating.

If you respond or comment on a discussion it will only increase the first time on each individual discussion. So if you commented on a response on a discussion and then responded on the same discussion your number would remain the same. However you would be earning for all that activity.

Some of this makes no sense to me. Like, why have all of these discussions if you can't talk about the discussions-such as not asking things in the Mylot discussion board about how Mylot works because it's a violation of terms? Or, not having similiar discussions? I mean, if there is a spin off topic then why not discuss it further? This is beginning to sound like Fight Club. I'll have to remember that the first rule is "You do not talk about Mylot", and the second rule is "You do not talk about Mylot". Thanks a bunch-Anora

Thank you. I did take the time to read through the TOS, Guidelines, and how to contact them directly with any other questions. It now makes sense that if we have reasonable questions, original thoughts, that we're not really limited. It's the ones that repeat a million times, post meaningless things, and don't contribute to others learning. So, in that I can now see that it makes sense. Thanks for the guidance though, and I'll make sure to keep any further questions directed privately to Mylot so as not to take up board space, or repeat questions that may have been answered already.

That is a pleasure to read! Not often do users take time to study and understand what is behind some rules. Manyof the repeat discussions hanging out there will eventually be deleted and the longer you stay you will learn to avoid responding on them and hence not lose earnings. Have fun and happy Lotting!

Hi Anora! I really feel that this sort of thing has taken shape with you. Hoe things would go in your favour in the future.

Thanks. I think I'm getting the hang of it all, and it does make more sense now that I've had some time to read through everything.

If you responded in a discussion, which gets deleted afterwards, you may experience this ups and downs. Look for the tags before you select a discussion to respond. If you see anything like 'violation', 'reported' or similar tags, just skip to the next question. You won't get any credit for responding in such discussions.

Thanks. I can't say I understand it or agree, but I guess I'll need read up fully on how this works. Namaste-Anora
