This is a proverb which i have heard from my teacher last time. Basically i find that this is very true and it reflects the cruel nature of how the whole world works. In events of the rich and the poor the poor will always have little rights/Choices because it is usually chosen for them by the rich. And the Rich will always find ways to become richer and thus making the degrading the life of the poor further more.

Not always. The problem with the rich is that they don't feel the urge to become richer. They will become lazy and will immerse themselves in all sorts of pleasures which will destroy their competency. The sons and daughters of rich people are brought up in such a way that they only know how to spend money and not to make money. But on the other hand, the poor will always try to becomme rich after seeing the difference between their quality of living and those of the rich and how they suffer due to their poverty and how the rich enjoy their life due to surplus money. These principles or conclusions doesn't apply to all. There are poor people who don't want to be rich and there are rich people who make more and more money. But the general scenario is this. Again, if you want to prove that the rich always becomme rich, you should prove that atleast 50 % those who were rich 100 or else 50 years ago are still remaining rich. But you can't prove it. The richest in the past are not there today. Also whenver a natural disaster or political struggle arrives, most often it is the rich who bear the brunt of economic losses. The poor have nothing to lose. But the rich always have too much to lose.

But then it is the rich-poor divide case. I agree that the poor can't find anything to hold on to in times of calamities. But that doesn't prove that the rich will remain rich. There are other instances in which the rich are the one who are hardly hit. For example in the communist revolutions, and in the French revolutions the rich were not allowed to live- even though they were good. But the poor were spared.

10% of the adults in the world holds 85% of the worlds wealth. What is left is for the rest. It is so sad. Society can say that everyone have equal chances of success but how true is that when 99% of the time in the working world the rich already have the power to control your life.

yeah, the world is harsh, reality often makes us feel helpless.the rich could get much more money with their money,so they become richer while the poor have few ways to make money on their own hand,it's unfair of the world.the gap becomes broader and broader, the rub between rich and poor could lead to serious social problems in the future if goverments have no way to protect the poor

It is sad but true and to be honest everyone wants to be rich which broaden the gap between the rich and the poor and this situation will last for another thousand years if the society in which we know now still survive then. No worries i am one of the poor too.

Sad but true, but it really doesn't matter if your poor or rich! All that matters is that you love God/Jesus....
