Have you ever been so sure that someone is "THE ONE", but they dont feel the same way? I'm just interested to know.

Absolutely! I thought twice that I had found "the one" but turns out they didn't want me or think that I was "the one". Eventually I did find the one for me. He thought I was his one and only on the first date but I was so shy and nervous because of my past experiences I didn't realize he was it for me until many months later.

Yeah, alot of people, specially when they're young (i'm not saying you are, just for example.) Seem to think that everyone they're with is the one haha... XD I'm glad your story turned out into a happy ending though :)

You're right though - i was young at the time and probably due to my age and eyes in the sky i thought those two were the one. Only when I met my husband and realized that the reasons we were so compatible was that we had similar goals in life and similar thoughts about the world in general that I knew this would be someone to spend a lifetime.

oh my that was how it was with my ex. I was sure he was the one for me and I told him that after several months of dating and he admitted he wasn't sure and needed more time and I said that was fine. Finally after 10 months he decided that I wasn't the one...while he loved me deeply and wanted to marry me, he didn't see us working out.

Why not? Surely there must be more reason to it just being "I don't see us working out?"
