the chocolate to go onsale the day after! lol Not really, I don't eat candy but maybe a couple of times a year. This Valentine's Day holds no magic for me. If I could have a Valentine this year, it would have 4 legs, a wagging tail and fur! lol But, for now I'm in the midst of bags, boxes and packing to move, since my s/o decided in Jan he wanted to live alone. So, my Valentine present to me this year is sooooo romantic, a new set of tires! from me, to me. lol Who else will be 'treating' themselves to a Valentine present, dinner, etc.?

When I read your first line I LOL too. That is what I was thinking. I have coupons for candy and was thinking I would wait until it went on clearance and the I would get an even better deal. I hopefully won't be treating myself to a Valentines gift. At least my husband had better give me something or I'll be eating his gift in front of him. LOL

He's never forgotten a hoilday in the 40 years of mariage so I doubt he'll forget this one. When we were first married he made the remark that now that we were married he wouldn't have to buy me a Sweetest Day gift. I told him if he didn't get me one I wouldn't be getting him one, so that was that. I get a gift every occasion. It works for me. You just have to let them know what you expect to get what you want.

I want the chocolate to go on sale! I'm ready for it to go on sale actually. I've been talking all evening about how I just want some chocolate! lol. I'm not doing anything special for myself this year. Unless I see some good candy on sale that I'm really interested in, I'm not going to buy myself anything major or anything. I'm not that interested in buying myself a special treat for Valentine's day.

Don't feel alone, I have a s/o sitting right here at the table and he don't do valentines day, he always says you got the money buy what you want. I think that sucks, but some southern boys that way. And yes I am waiting on the day after when they mark it all down. Why pay full price when you can get twice as much. And I have diabetes so can't have too much. I have some friends that have wedding anniversaries on the 14th and will send them a card, along with my other friends on the net, but other than that will just be another day here for me.

Haven't met too many southern boys with that attitude. Although when I was married to my second husband, I bought my own birthday, Christmas, and any other presents! lol hope you have a nice day anyway.

Hey palonghorn! That's ok! At least the tires are useful! I bought myself some little boxes of chocolates! I couldn't wait for the day after sales! I'll go back for more after I see what I like! I already had a hugh fight with my boyfriend so it should be a lovely Valentine's Day for sure! And we live together! So I don't know what will happen next! He had better apologize and buy me something really nice, which I know he won't since he is so cheap or this weekend is not going to go too well! Too bad I can't help you move!

Hope he gets outta the doghouse. Thanks for the offer to help me move, it would be nice to have someone around, particularly now (he drove himself to the hospital today while out running errands, check out my other discussion) so, not exactly sure when moving day will be for now, still next week, by Friday.

antually specking, i do not know what you mean. But I really want to say something aboutn valentine's day. Every year, I will have a dinner with my husband. But this year, as he is on business trip, I can only say Happy valentine.
