Where Do You Find New Music?

I was in Target the other day browsing the music section when a couple kids no older than 14 came by and started to check out some CD's. I overheard one of them say, "Wow! I've never bought a CD before in my life. I get everything off the internet." This made me feel tremendously old (just turned 26). When I was growing up, it was tapes, then CD's and now digital downloads. My question to everyone is, where do you find new music? It seems no one really listens to the radio anymore. And with places like iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic etc, the radio has become obsolete. I ask because I am in the process of making my music available through iTunes. Let me know if anyone is interested. But either way, where do you guys go to find new music?

I love to go to Yahoo music to listen to the new jams that they have out, I also hear new songs off of the radio too.. That is when I will decide if the song is what I wnjoy hearing.. I hardly go out and buy music like I used to do abut five years ago.. I am really in the need of some new joints.. Thanks for reminding me, I will be visiting the music stores very soon!

thanks for the response. Your welcome for reminding you to get some new music. If you like Electronica and Rock, check out a guy named Samurhi. He is pretty good.

I dont listen to music on the computer or the radio....The reason I dont listne to the radio though is because there are just far too many commercials and its the same songs over and over on the main stations so I just dont bother...What I DO do however is make tons of CDs...I have 1000s of songs on my computer and am forever making mixed CDs for myself.... where do I find new music though...through certain friends, my kids, tv shows and movies and music magazines like AP etc....

Right now, I find new music by doing searches on YouTube or listening to recommended music from Livejournal friends.
