Guys, how do you feel about the girl purposing?

Tradition is, is that the man asks the father of the girl he loved for her hand in marriage then he asks the girl. It is not quit the same today. Purposing is done all sorts of ways now, so guys how do you feel about the girl getting down on her knee and popping the question?

I think that men feel flattered, or they may be embarrassed especially if they are going to say no. I'll be interested to read how far off I am.

I am very interested as well. I am with a great man and have been for four years, i want to spend my life with him, but don't know if i should be the one to ask the question.
