I just want to go outside and shake the tree and make it go away! Is that mean?? lol Normally, i actually appreciate nature and all it's gifts. But today, I just want some peace and quiet. Do odd things ever irritate you out of the blue?

He is there for a reason, even if it is annoying. What reason? I have no idea. Open the window and talk to him. Am I crazy? Maybe.... LOL Yes, and odd things do annoy me but at this point in my life I try to forgive them and let it go, more than I used to.

My sister talks to birds! lol Sometimes I take her seriously sometimes I'm not so sure. She things that white doves have something to do with the spirit of our grandmother. I don't know if she's right, or if it's wishful thinking. I try to respect her beliefs.

We live in the woods so we hear a lot of birds. Also, my husband feeds all of the birds, and other critters. We have had a few annoying ones, like a screech owl for two months one year. He was loud and hanging out by our house but he suddenly decided to park on our light outside of our kitchen door and it took quite a few tries to get his photo without him flying away. What a beautiful creature!! After knowing how close he was and that we got to see him close up, we were no longer annoyed by his nightly cries.

Well I find it very irritating when a train comes through and I cant hear what anyone else is saying. But birds dont bother me much. I think they sound so nice and I like to listen to them.

Except when they are magpies, magpies are not nice to listen to, especially when there's a family of them come to visit you!

lol Yes, trains can be very annoying. We used to have a train track going by near my house when I was growing up. It was pretty loud. My parents house was in the flight path of Miami International Airport too. They had no A/C so that was pretty noisy too! My dad's house is still in that path and now, so is mine, but at least we have an airconditioner to drown out the sound. And I think planes are flying higher than they used to. Either that, or I just don't hear them anymore. I don't know much about magpies. This is probably a mocking bird. It's still chirping away! I tuned it out for a while, but I just became concious of it again!

I have the same problem with magpies, they make such an awful racket and they seem to know when I want my peace and quiet! There is a whole family of them, either that or the local Magpie convention happen to meet up in my garden if you please, the cheek of them, it's like they know! The devil in me would condone you going out and shaking that tree and telling the bird to go and annoy someone else! But becareful he doesn't seek revenge by leaving you a deposit when you go out LOL! Animals are not as dumb as we make them out to be! Now shake that tree LOL!

lol I don't dare! If they are mocking birds, they can be quite spiteful! If i'm not mistaken, they are nicknamed catbirds and I've seen em in action! We all think cats go after birds. I've seen birds chase down cats. I don't want a HOLE pecked into my head!

Hi, Miami Yep, that's mean! And yep I've been there too! Have you ever noticed that it's the little things that seem to throw you over the edge? The upside, is that you know that you're ticked off and hopefully will not take that out on the poor birdie! That little birdie needs a place to sit and sing too!! The reason we are women is so that we can have an excuse to be irrational and moody is it not? As you can probably see one of the ways that I deal with stress is to laugh about it. I find this helps me to cope and not go out there and shake the bird from its tree! Ya aren't feeling all that kind and loving today are you? Being it's valentine's day and all! Just kidding but I hope the day does get better for you.

Errm, what did the tree do, my friend, to disturb your peace and quiet. Are there birds singing in it or something. You know, it might make you feel better if you just went out and gave it a hug and scattered some bird feed or bread about ten feet further away from the house. lol. No... I don't think I get irritated by anything in nature but I hate it when somebody suddently starts drilling up the road at 7.30 a.m. lol. Brightest Blessings.

birds usually don't bother me,but i wish the squirrels would shut up sometimes. they get in the trees and do that "kkrk~REEEEEEEE" alarm call for hours on end. if something's bothering them that much, they should just go somewhere else.

There are days like that when everything just seems to set you on edge, it's not those things causing the problem it's you. Maybe hormones.
