Making Friends

I just moved to a new city and am looking for a way to make new friends. Does anybody have any ideas? I know I can get involved in school clubs and such. I would also like to make friends outside of my school. Any ideas for that?

Thats gr8, involvement in different fuction would be helpful for you. Join hobbycentre, in which you are interested. Due to participation, person would knw about your quality and make friendship with you. You should specify your nature,that will be easy for others to advice you, because most of the things depends on your nature. May you get good friends.

Do you play any sports? You could join a local league, or volunteer at a hospital or nursing home, or animal shelter, or something like that, that's a great way to meet people. Good luck!!

Yeah I thought about the volunteering thing. I have volunteered back home before. I just feel like sometimes people come to volunteer and then we all leave and go on our way. I guess I should find something like habitat for humanity where you are constantly working with the same people. As for sports, I'm not into any! Lol.

friends and in a short time just forget. well you will make aquaintances according to your life style, job or business but friends and friendship needs time and many common things, faith and lot of confidence.
and it will take time to develop any thing between the two!!
