Is Stamp and Coin Collecting for Women?

I get from mails I receive and I also save coins that I get from countries that I have visited.
My question is - Is it a woman thing or for men too?

Anyone who likes collecting these things can, I don't think that it's really gender oriented. Maybe earlier in society it'd be more of a man thing, but now it'd be more of a woman thing. Although I've heard of women collecting stamps back when society was different, then again I've heard of the collecting green stamps to purchase items in stores.

Let me clarify about the green stamps, I used to work for a store that is only in my state, and a few in the outlining states. The store had their employees watch a video and in this video their was information about the history of the store. The store first started out with giving something that I believe were called green stamps and we're just coupons for free things or off a certain price.
