It really depends on your relationship and how long that separation will be. If there is no foreseeable time when you will finally be together then there truly is no chance of a family as we have come to know it. If the separation is for a known time for a good reason then it can work but not it it's open ended. Under those circumstances all you should continue to be is friends. If your relationship is as a husband or wife and the separation is because of work or one is in the military then it can work out because there should be a point in time when you will be back together. But if you love where you live and he/she loves where they live and neither will relocate then friends it must be.

I think a long distance relationship is healthy as long as you have communication, honesty, trust and everything else that a short distance relationship needs. I am in a long distance relationship and I honestly think we have a healthy one because we talk about everything and I think it helps our future because we know a lot about each other and know what we want.

I think that it depends on how you feel about the person. If they are going to be away to further their education or their career then I think it is a good thing. If you really love the person you will be there for them and with them through the telephone or writing.

I think you're right SomeCowgirl but what keeps me hunting right now if he still loves me as much as I do. And is it worthwhile to wait? Telephone is toooo expensive or even mailing up a letter to him. Thank you for sharing your ideas and this maybe a big help on my current research. Hopefully it will be successful. God bless!

well, first of all, you need to know if he really deserve to wait for him. Second you must see if you really can be together in the next future. You must know for sure how he is, and if you really love him, if he can offer you what you are waiting for, and so one. Online relationships mut be based on 100% confidence and love.

Well, he said that he already found ONE and I don't have that confidence to see him at all. So I think there's no second chance :(
