Do you get annoyed by smudges on your screen?

It doesn't necessarily annoy me but I can't use them also because those smudges would just keep on bothering me, big time! I have to clean them first for my peace of my mind. LOL! I do agree that some people are just so oblivious to the smudges on their screens that I am the one who notices them. It happened several times already that I had to call the attention of a fellow worker about her dirty screen and that she must clean it or else, I will. he he he! It is just one of those compulsions that I have.

Yes it drives me mad as well! I wear glasses and when they are dirty it annoys the hell out of me! I was telling another MyLotter the other day about the time when my husband and I first lived together and how he was very puzzled by the fact that I used to take window cleaner to the bathroom when I went to brush my teeth before bed. Upon investigation he discovered that I did so to clean the mirror after flossing my teeth. I still do it today; I hate glass of any sort with dirt or smudges!

Drives me crazy! We have a 'communal' computer for the family and every time I was the screen, somebody has to sneeze on it! I keep the cleaner and cloth right next to the computer...but do you think anyone else will use them??? LOL...now you know what pushes my button!

I do get annoyed by the smudges on my computer screen and cell phone screen. I want to be able to see what I am looking at so I am constantly cleaning off my computer monitor and cell phone screen. I let a friend of my mom use my cell phone for about 2 minutes I would say and let me tell you she has a curl which mean the activator is there. When I got my phone back my screen had curl juice smeared on it. I did not care if she saw me wiping off my cell phone by the way I let her know that she got curl juice on my phone and that is why I was cleaning it. I could not stand it, I have not let her use my phone since then.

I am extremely messy in nature, but I can not stand dust on my laptop screen (I would probably clean it after a few months), especially when there is sunlight directed at it. Smudges get annoying after a while..if I remember that I had a smudge... (lol!)

Yes I do get annoyed with smudges. I know that I am always cleaning my screen, cell phone, and other surfaces to make sure they are clean. So believe me you are not alone in that annoyance.

It bugs me more when the screen is darker...I bought some monitor cleaning wipes and a cleaning kit that i use alot on my laptop and on my lcd. I tend to be a touch screener even though i know its not a touch screen.

it totally makes me crazy to see smudges on the screen. It makes me wonder if there is something wrong with my eyes at first, and then I realize that the screen just needs to be cleaned. it bugs me.

It annoys the heck out of me. I will have to get it off. I don't like smudges at all. Cellphones, computer monitors, windshields, reading glasses, I just can't stand it I have to keep them clean. My grand sons hog my computer and when the finish I have to clean my screen. They love to put their finger prints all over it.

hello modstar i know what that you mean by having any kind of a smudge on anything like a computer monitor screen, a cell phone, or on a telephone. i wear make-up and when i talk on my cell phone, when i go to end my call, i will look down at the cell phone only to find that it has make-up smudged all over it. eww. then i immediately find something to wipe it off with, like a tissue. but i use a paper towel and windex to clean off my computer monitors with. i spray the windex on the paper towel first then i will wipe the computer screen with the damp towel. take care and have a beautiful evening.

Yes, smudges annoy me. I wear glasses, and getting a smudge on them bothers me more than a smudge on anything else. I keep window cleaning wipes handy all the time for times when I see a smudge.

Yes it is annoying. The first thought is to rub the smudge away with your fingers only to make it worse. Thank god i don't have a touch screen.

Haha it's really annoying. maybe the second most annoying thing on your screen after scratches. I find myself constantly cleaning the screen of my ipod because it's touch screen . :/ I'm saving up now tough, for a new screen cover that doesnt get dirty half as fast ... Or so they say . Until I can afford it, I'm sticking to my trustable screen cleaner and cloth
