I'm really in love with Jesus Christ. I think He was the most outstanding person and the greatest teacher who walked on this earth. He defined human nature, and what to do about it, with a precision that's simply astonishing. And yes, he was most certainly in touch with God to a degree that it is not surprising that, in Christian religions, He is being confused with Him or made one with Him. I don't believe in his resurrection, though. Isn't it enough that He paid the ultimate price, walking voluntarily to his execution so that, when evil put him on the cross, they put him so high that 2000 years later we still talk about him and his teachings?

There are not confusion where God and Jesus Christ is concern. In his own words he said that he and his father are one. When you see him you see the father. As sinner we have to go through Jesus Christ because he is the mediator between us sinner and God. Yes he was above all he was perfect and as christian it is our duty to display all of the attribute that Jesus Christ display on earth. His teaching and love for humanity was beyond what we can see. I love him because it is through him I can be able to forgive and love unconditionally. God is the father, Jesus Christ the son and the Holy Ghost the comforter. They all are three spirits working in one accordance. It is good to know the love and friendship that Jesus Christ has with his father and if we strive to do the same we will also have it. Take Care Kerry

That is the where we go wrong Islander believing that we have to spiritual minded to be one with God. The bibles says that because of our sin we cannot be one with God. God is prefection and we have the blot of sin on us. This is the reason whenever we pray we have to asked for Forgiveness and also has to pray through Jesus Christ. Being spiritual minded is just as start but there are alot of work to be done before we can reach the level that God want us to be. Please to read your bible and practice what you read and then you can reach that level that God want of us. But as long as we continue to live in sin then we can have that oneness with God. It is sad but the truth.

Well, you say are in love with Jesus Christ, though conditionally. For He did say if you have seen me, you have seen Him. Who but a Son can say that? I dont intend to contradict you, for it is your question whether you are a Christian. So I would not say you are a Christian but someone who knows Christ well, but not enough..IMO

Hi pillusch, There are different definitions of what being a Christian means, but I cannot tell you if you are a Christian or not, only you can decide that. To me a Christian is one who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus was one of,if not the greatest, teachers of all times, but I don't think that other world religions are wrong either. The real basics are the same because all major religions contain the golden rule and that is really a summary of the teachings of Christ. Now if only we could all live that way, there would really be no need of religion in the way that we think of it. Blessings.

To be a true christian one must completely believe in the resurrection of JesusChrist. A gospel is not complete without preaching on the resurrection of Jesuschrist. A true christian believes that JesusChrist is the Son of God, and that Jesus was raised to life again. The preaching of christianity is in vain without the resurrection. For the resurrection assures us that christians will also expereince resurrection at Christ's second coming.

Christian is just a label. It is up to you whether or not you attach that label to yourself. I do not think what you call yourself is important though as long as you love humanity and God and seek to find truth that is what is important. God will guide you if you keep your heart open and listen to God, not people. People are confused because they listen to each other, to clergy, to the news, to everything but God. Of course, it is easy to be distracted by the messages of the world but we must strive to detach ourselves from everything but God and thus find truth.

I say if you doubt any part of the bible then you aren't a true believer and there for not a true christian. If you believe that jesus was just a teacher then maybe you should consider joining a catholic church... or even a jewish church or w.e they have. Jesus was the son of god, as stated in the bible, they are one being and he was raised from the grave. The trinity is part of the intricate teachings of the bible... if you believe in one you believe in them all, or should anyways. I would say your more like an mix of beliefs but def. in the christian blanket...

I personally believe that you are a Christian. A Christian is one who believes in Christ, which you do. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the light. I personally feel that this is being taken to literal by many. I believe that Jesus was saying that how he lived his life, what he stood for, his enlightenment, his infusion with God and his spirituality is the way, the truth and the light. I believe his teachings were directives and instructions for all as to how to achieve the same oneness with God. Take Care!

Here also is another problem with your view on Jesus. You are a big fan of Jesus. You think Jesus was one of the most important figures in history. You believe he payed the ultimate price. Then tell me, how is it that he payed the ultimate price if he is not God? The bible states clearly that only one who is perfect can pay that ultimate price, and that the only one who is perfect is God. There is no other who is perfect. Jesus also states "I am the resurrction", yet you do not believe in the resurrection. So you are a big fan of a liar? There are some serious problems here!
