Ive been suffering from chronic pain for the longest time. even i take the desired meds for it, i still get it. The pain wouldn't stop and because of that my mood tends to go out of control. I get grouchy most of the time when its already unbearable. i usually have pain in the morning and it does stay on half of the day. sometimes, even i am in pain just like yesterday it didn't stop me from going out with my cuzin. they say, it is a matter how you deal with it. like, if you pamper it, the pain would get worse. i would like to know if anyone here has a similar condition like mine, i would appreciate it if you can share your story. thanks.

I'm suffering from cronic pain in my head - along with pain in my joints, but that's another story. I got the diagnose 7 years ago and they did find the reason for my pain - it's nothing to do to prevent the pain and no meds will help. I have a nerve in my head that is irritaded by a bloodvein and it will probably always make it hurt. I must say that IƤve learnt to live with it most days and it doesn't effect my much by now. Meds will seldom help much - not over do yourself but still be active is the things that will help to ease the pain - accepting the fact that you have pain will also help out a bit. I don't know if you have "pain - schools" where you live - I know there are places here in Sweden where you can get help to learn to cope with your pain! Good Luck!

I am actually on my own when i deal with my pain. my mom and siblings are used to me having that condition. i know i am good at dealing with pain coz time did help me on that. like, as much as possible i don't give much importance to it, i would go against and move around just so i can forget I am in pain. later on, i would feel there is a decrease on the pain scale. My condition is called Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I'm sorry to hear you've got JRA - I've been trough tests for RA my self, but they doesn't show anything - at least not yet. SOme days I would like to get a diagnose for that pain - even if it would be RA or the diagnose I suspect - Psoriasis Arthritis - just to know what's wrong and to get the help I need. Here in Sweden there are many activites for young persons with JRA - many say they helps a lot!

have you tried consulting a doctor regarding your condition? It's better to know what your condition is all about so you will be able to know how to deal with it. thanks for your comment.
