Personally i can't get into it, what with all the swords and the mumerous characteres involved. Can you? I can't remember all of it, but some of the scenes were intresting. I can't remember which one it was either, because there is so many of them! Lol. Anyway tell me what you think about lord of the rings?

Your subject line question seems really absurd to me, because it's obvious from the huge fan-following that there are many people who like Lord of the Rings. I love Lord of the Rings. Both the books and the movies. It's just my kind of story. High fantasy is my favorite genre, and before Lord of the Rings came to theaters, high fantasy in the movies was virtually non-existent. I love the plot, the setting, the sword-fights, and the numerous characters. I love it all! (I'm one of those geeky fans... by the way.) I'm also really glad that Lord of the Rings opened the door for more fantasy films to be made. Beforehand major studios thought that Fantasy was not a popular genre, but the success of Lord of the Rings proved them wrong.

Hi jazz. I loved the book and I loved the movies too. I have the movies series so I can watch it when I want to. Great movie and great book. But I'm curious about what you said: there is so many characteres involved. But most of the movies we watch have many characteres, so how you do to watch them? just curious. Have a good day friend.

You know every time I watch one of the series movies on TV, I always get a new point of view how I feel about it. I find the music really didn't help out with the scene plays, now that I have seen it a few times. The actors were good and did their part well, but I even believe they could had done some things different, thanks fro bringing this up.

I read the book many years ago, and felt lost when I'd finished it. It's like you are in a different world, and it's not easy to get back to reality. I was worried when the first film came out that I'd be disappointed, but I wasn't. The films are obviously different from the book, and the characters weren't all as I'd imagined them, but I've enjoyed them.

I'll always a fan of fantasy-based books and movies, and LOTR is one of them. Simple put, i give 10 out of 10! I ilke all of the scene, but one the scene in the first trilogy - The fellowship of the ring really inspired me. Its the scene where all of them gathered and to decides which one of them to carry the ring and arguing about it. At last Frodo Baggins stood up and say that he would carry the rings. Then Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and Gandalf the grey offer their supports to Frodo and the fellowship begins. That was awesome!!!

I enjoyed the books very much and have liked LOTR for many years. I was very pleased to see that the movie versions were finally made. I liked those very much too. Well made and deserved the Oscars that they got.
