i have found a 'miracle food'!! i know this is not easy to find in regular grocery stores, but it might be worth the extra effort to track it down! amaranth is a grain (well, seed is maybe a better way to describe it) similar to quinoa, that can be used in the same way things like rice, couscous, quinoa and oats are used. the thing is, it has more protein per serving that a steak or a medium portion of chicken. it has more calcium than regular milk, and, as some people know, milk doesn't always metabolize properly, but the calcium in amaranth DOES. it also has the same properties as many other grains, but packed with extra vitamins. i LOVE oatmeal but it makes me pack on pounds. amaranth has a different texture, but is way more filling, and doesn't make me put on weight. amaranth is great combined with dried fruits, nuts, honey, etc and eaten warm. but it can also be good to eat cold with fresh fruit or veggies (depending how you season it). you can make it into pudding, or stir-fry it, or use amaranth flour in baking instead of regular flour. you can also 'pop' it like corn, and i've seen this variety ready-made in health food stores or bulk stores. really good stuff! but a small warning, it smells a little weird when cooking it. but believe me, it doesn't taste like it smells ;)

Dont look on the food as thinking of the clories, proteins, sugar etc. But take the diet as it is. The reason for this is every food have its own positive points like if you like the oranges they are rich in vitamin c but if you stop taking oranges or its juice and you take any other item as a substitue for it then may be you loose the positive points of that fruit. So dont plann your diet very just take every diet and for your own phisical fitness only take regular exercises.
