Thankfully religion does NOT play a big role in my role. Rather, it is kept somewhere in a remote corner and I am not even aware of its existence. To me, following the tenets of humanity and spirituality are more important than following some mumbo jumbo religious rituals and no, I don’t feel any vacuum inside me.

My guidelines are: 1. Never hurt another person unnecessarily 2. Avoid lying as much as possible 3. Help people as much as possible 4. Respect everybody as you want to be respected 5. Keep no animosity, no hatred in your heart 6. Take what you want from life but be prepared to pay for it 7. Old sins have long shadows...so be careful 8. There is always tomorrow...so have hope, keep faith 9. Reincarnation…I will come back on this journey again 10.God is everywhere, within everybody’s soul…confined to no religion or religious books or religious places of worship These are the values I live by, I don’t go by any religious book. Maybe I am guided by principles of my religion Hinduism, but I don’t follow any scriptures line by line, nor do I visit any temple

oh good guidelines where you extract it? are you single or married with children so are you teaching this to your love ones and for the next generation of yours, then you have to named certain for it and that's the start of your religion....be justified for it later.

Meeting with fellow believers is very important to me and commanded in the Scriptures. Hebrews 10:24-25 (New International Version) 24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Yeah, thats convincing...but situation where by it becomes routine and dogmatic, when people are not even allowed to think and find the spirituality themselves..

Davido, I look at it this way. If the Scriptures command that we meet and we believe the Scriptures than we must meet. If we are not fulfilled or happy where we go then we search for another group until we find the one that satisfies the spiritual hunger that we have. We meet for encouragenment, support, cooperation, enlightenment, stenghthening, so that we can grow in the doing of God's will. The day that it doesn't work anymore than I will do something else.

do you know what spirit is???you look like 2 faces of the coin, you have to prove the spirit because it guides you thru your religion.

I go to Temple on a weekly basis, not because I feel I have to or because there is any mandate to, but because I enjoy it. After Minyon on Thursdays, we have lunch and then we have a discussion on the teachings of Maimonides and other subjects. Even though the Rabbi is teaching us, we are free to argue and disagree and we are challenged to come back the next week with reasons for our disagreements. It is a wonderful learning process. I have been to other Houses of Worship and have never experienced such a free flow of ideas and information with no judgement involved. Shalom~Adoniah

I don't go to church as often as I should, but I do try to go at least once or twice a month. But yes, religion does play a big role in my life. I am a catholic, and I do alot of prayer on a daily basis, and I read from my Bible all the time, and when I'm seeking an answer to something, I turn to the Bible and most times I will find the answer I am looking for.

I go to church once in a while, but feels like God is with me where ever I am. The times I go to church it's since I like the choir that will sing or that it will be a play or some priest that I really like to listen to. Religion plays a part in my life sinte the sociaty is built on it in the beginning
