Here I am suffering from insomnia

And I'm not going to ask what you do when you get insomnia or how often you get it, because I see that's been done a few hundred thousand times. I thought I'd see who is on at this time of night, where you are from and if this is your normal daytime. Or are there any other crazy insomniacs like me!

I'm here Dawn! But it's also 1 o'clock in the afternoon here, so I guess I'm no solace to you on that front. I'm not a very good sleeper either unfortunately. It's a shame we have such different time zones between us as we could count sheep together!

I don't really count sleep. I actually did try it a few times but I don't think it really helped...

I did take a nice long walk yesterday. And it is true that I don't exercise as much as I might, but last night it was simply gas.

I was still sound asleep when you posted this, however it was about 5:30 in the morning at that time, so not highly unusual for people to be getting up and starting their day.

I normally get up no earlier than 6:30am or 7, depending on how long the baby let's me sleep for. Most days hubby gets up with him and the other kids, so I don't drag my butt out of bed till around 8.

Hey dawny Well I am here!!! I am on holiday at my mum's and I am still here! So it must be about 5.30 with you there. It is 10.30 here in the UK and I am just having a quick play around in myLot and then off out for the day with the kids probably go into the city because I have to find an outfit for a Christening and wedding, children permitting, and then onto the park for a game of soccer! So I won't be around for the rest of the day, got a hot date tonight too! Heeheehee

I suffer terribly with this. I cannot sleep until around 4.00am. I think it's my medication though, but its really annoying. I think there is quite a lot of people that suffer with this. Sorry you cannot sleep either.

Here's one! I am sleepless on most nights, and could catch a wink only by 4 am. But I could manage with that because I guess some powersleep, and my work schedule is flexible. I feel insomnia is usually a part of the creative urge and attempts to do something unique.

Hi dawn, I used to experienced this when I was working and end up sleeping late at night! Even if my body is tired and because I am on the bed late than my usual bed time, I tend to be awake 24 hours,,,,I will try all sleeping positions and still be wide awake! I will surf online in moment like this and wait until I am drained a lot! LOL!

I have something I guess it is insomnia, I just can't go to sleep at night why is a mystery to me. I will even get in the bed turn the lights out and television off and fall off to sleep only for a few minutes and then I am woke. I have looked at the clock and it will be 3:00 am and I am still not sleep. I will be happy when this pass and I can get to sleep like a normal person.

I'm feeling so draggy and tired as I did not sleep much last night. I am praying hard not to worry but the economic situation is so frightening and now after listening the government last night, I went to the bank and withdrew the small sum that I have in US dollar savings. I will take it Io NC and give my daughter to keep for me. Trust me, if I was online at home I would have kept you company!

I have to get some sleep tonight so I went to a pharmacist that I know and begged her to give two happy pills. Desperation has kicked in. I know that I am sitting at the right hand of God on His think-tank team and it just keeps me awake. I just cannot do without sleep and need lots of it. Here's hoping for some rest tonight. for both of us. Blessings

I am not an insomniac, and I do wonder some times how people live with Insomnia. Cause from what i know, after 4 days of no sleep you will begin to hallucinate and go crazy. Thats just an incredibly scary thought for me.

I am definitely an insomniac. Even when I have to get up for school at 6 AM, I always find myself unable to fall asleep until around 2:30-3:00 AM. It's funny because I'm more awake during the nighttime than I am during the day. My sleeping cycle is messed up, haha!
