haha... good logic hehe.. yes nowadays we have to be careful on picking our baby's names and consider some aspects.. 1. spelling, 2. not that long (i've experienced this though i just have 2 names and 3 letters on my surname, in school especially exam days am in a hurry writing my names they're on number 3 questions and what? am still writing my name haha...) anyways, thanks for all the replies. ;) and OT (off topic) am from the Phils. too :D Godabless!0=)

yeah. my sister suggested the spelling cause she thinks sophia is more common than sofia. besides, sofia is far easier to spell in school than the one with the ph. at least my daughter doesn't have to wonder why the heck ph sounds like an f. hehe

My mom and husband named my first child Eethen Seth. Seth being from his dads favorite moto cross racer, and from the bible. I named my daughter Isabella because it means devoted to God.

My first child (daughter #1) Lillian Grace age 13 was names after two of her great grandmothers. My second child (daughter #2) Cheyenne Elizabeth age 11 got her first name because I liked it and plus my sister was pregnant also and due at the same time, we both wanted to use the name Rebecca Elizabeth so we eachchose the name we liked best of the two and then found another name to go with it. My third child (son #1)Louis Wayne age 4 got his first name because it was both my grandfather and my husbands grandfaters name. and his middle name is his dads middle name. My forth child (son #2) Joshua Aaron age 2 got both parts of his from the bible. My fifth child (daughter #3) Faith Serenity age 4 months we could not agree on any of the names so i told him Serenity would be on of the names and then a started having problem with the pregnancy so we decided a Faith. And she has really lived up to her name.

Jorden and Alejandro - Jorden is 3 1/2 and Alejandro is 16 months now. This picture was when they were a little younger.
Well when I was pregnant with my first son and it was time to start thinking of names, I had books, papers, websites, literally anything that had names on it I had it. I was excited because a name lasts forever. I had liked Cal, Skyler, and Cole, but his father would not agree to anything I wanted. I also wanted a name thats different, not original, but of course his dad wouldnt agree with it. So finally one day when the dad came home from work, he said, what about Jordan so I was like wow yeah I think I like it. So we named him Jorden spelt with an e instead of an a. We figured if it ended up being a girl we could still keep the name. Then with my second son I told their father, pick one Alejandro or Emilio and he picked surprisingly.

We wound up having a daughter, so I got to name her. I didn't want to give her one of the vastly overused "trendy" names like Madison or Kaitlynn. I wound up picking Allison for the first name. I'v always liked the name and it's not a name that's used that often. For her middle name, I chose Camille. I've always liked that name and the name flows perfectly together with our last name. If she had been a boy, she would have had my DH's name. He would have been Craig Steven (Lastname), Jr.
