In a way I think its true but my take on that is that once your in-love, you accept all the things about that other person, all the good and the bad. When you love a person you don't really bother to notice their flaws. The thing that's not good about it is that when the person you love is already hurting you but you still hold on... that is what think the connotation "love is blind" begins.

I sort of get what you're saying. Before you fall in love both people are cautious and don't show their flaws/short-comings. Then when you are in love you relax (or you believe the other person cares enough about you to accept you for who you are) and the flaws come out. By that time, if the relationship is going to work, both people do accept the flaws. This love-being-blind can be bad if you are blind to serious problems in the relationship like domestic violence and cheating. No one should put up with being hit or being exposed to STDs.

love it`s defenently blind. When you love someone, you will not see that all your friends will see. You`ll see only what it`s a good thing, and you`ll never be able if you already inloved, if that girl it`s the right for you. In this case, sometimes, parents act on the right moment, and open your eyes, if they can`t do that, you`ll maybe end in an unhappy family, or something like that..

Well, i definitely agree with your so very beautiful statement. Love is truly blind and you cannot help to avoid it. It leads you to apth that you follow as if you really know what you are doing but actually you are BLIND.!! It may even lead to your destruction or may be your destiny.!!!!

I do believe it. When you love something it is hard to see the bad and often times people will turn their heads. Everyone can see and say al they want but love will keep you blind .

Sometimes I feel that love is blind but many a times I feel it is not. We care for our loved one's, we make mental notes about the things they like, we take care never to hurt them and the list goes on and on. Then how can you say that love is blind ???

No, i don't believe in it. How can it be ? There are many aspects in love. Loving is one aspect, living together is another aspect. If your partner is from a poor family or she has has some problems then you can ignore such things and may say that you love her and her status may not matter to you. In that case I may agree with the statement LOVE IS BLIND. But, if you sense something wrong in your partner, may be about her character or her habit, then you can't tolerate all those things after a certain limit. In the name of love you may try to ignore such things or may compromise for certain time. But, after a certain limit i can guarantee that you won't be able to tolerate anymore, you'll lose your peace of mind. Then, it's better to love with an open eye.
