A pound of cheddar A cup of milk A table spoon of butter Melt milk in butter (or melt butter in milk, I can't remember how he put it) while simmering on low, and add cheese while stirring. Cheese'll melt pretty quickly. Cook pasta and pour sauce over. IT WAS SO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! Any kind of cheese is good. He did this once with Danish Esrom cheese. YUMMY My husband is the BEST cook in the world.

hello danishcanadian yum, that cheese sauce does sound delicious. and you could use it over different things than pasta like nacho's. and it sounded fairly easy to make as well. i know that both of my boys would love the cheese sauce like that over their spaghetti noodles. and i also enjoy putting cheese sauce like that over burritos and it is even good on tacos. i just went grocery shopping today, and i bought the ingredients for homemade beef burritos and i also purchased some shredded cheese today at the store as i know what our dinner is going to be around here tomorrow night. thanks for the great tip about making the cheese sauce like that. take care and have a beautiful evening.

ur such a lucky, lucky wife! The cheesy pasta sounds really yummy, made me crave for a warm bowl of mac&cheese! I know men can cook but only few will actually take the time & the initiative to cook for their families. Some just think that cooking is their wife's duty..and other wives just dont like it when their hubbies invade their kitchens (im guilty of that! Lol!) I remember my husband also cook on several occasions. Sometimes, when Im sick, he will make me grilled ham&cheese sandwich & eggdrop soup. Also, once when I went out with some girl friends, I ask him to meet us for dinner, instead he said we can just all go home & he'll make dinner. He made meatball spaghetti and garlic bread for me & my friends =) He can cook too, but 80% of the time, I do all the cooking!

Mmmmm... that sounds delicious. My Mum used to make cheese like that, pour it into a dish and dip toast into it. lol. You're lucky to have a man who can come up with delicious recipes like that... AND cook them. I'm glad you enjoyed it, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

Wow He's a keeper. The only help I get in the kitchen from my husband is to eat, but he's super easy to cook for. He eats anything and everything.

That sounds really good. I love cheese sauce. I bet it would be good on broccoli or even chips too. Lucky you having a husband that is a good cook.

My mother told me at a very young age that I needed to learn to cook because I wouldn't always be married and you can't afford to go out three times a day. I came to the conclusion that if I'm going to cook, I'm going to do it well. My specialties are Asian (Indian and Thai with some Chinese), Mexican, and Russian/Ukrainian. I can cook N. American (especially Southern), but I prefer a more exotic flavour than just McDonald's.

Oh wow! That sounds pretty yummy! Then again, anything with cheese is a good thing. This looks to be a very simple, quick, and sure to be a hit with a lot of people because they like stuff like this. Probably isn't very healthy though. Oh well.
