myLot rules say nothing against it and no one is doing it but can I or should I reply to discussions I started? Here's the situation. I posted a particular discussion and after some time, I learned something new about the topic that I want to add. I can't edit my original post so there's no way to add the new information in it. I checked the responses but I can't find any reply where I can appropriately insert the new information as a comment. What do you think fellow myLotters? Should I or can I reply to my own discussion?

The sad thing is that no, there isn't even an option to reply to your own discussion as a separate post. Though you can post after some that posted on your discussion and add a comment to that post, which would sort of be the same thing and posting a post on your own discussion. I think it's because then people would always reply to there discussions and they would get lots of responses from the discussion, which really would be just themselves, and earn lots of money for it. That's probably why mylot does not have that option.

I was in similar situation as you put in the discussion. The only way to revise, to add, or to explain, if necessary, is to respond. That is not actually a response to your own discussion, but a kind of supplement to it. As the format is set that way, instead of editing the discussion, which seems more logical and should be able to designed, people can understand the intent. And it is not anything breaking the rules, I think we can just go ahead with it .
