i got motivated by another mylotter who was motivated by another mylotter to make quality posts and i have seen the vision. i want to see us here making quality than making one liner or two liner posts here. Its nice to see longer posts than those one liners which is now flooding mylot. We just have to amke the move to be more descriptive in our posting styles and be patient in making longer replies. I know i will have good resulrs and hope we all participate in thsi call for more qaulity posts, i hope mylotters will cooperate and inspire one another and post quality posts here. have a nice day and take care!

Good idea in fact I rarely ever make one liner post because I know that mylot encourages us to be as detailed as possible thats why I try to make my discussions as detailed as I can and try to think of interesting quality topics.

I hope so too but I know that there are a lot of people who do not like to read longer posts and therefore will sometimes even go so far as to give a negative to the person for writing a longer post. I enjoy reading longer posts whether or not I respond to them or not. Although I know I am guilty of writing one line responses and I think I've even done the same for discussions. I try to be as descriptive as possible just like the side says when you post "Please be as descriptive as possible"

Having read some of the responses to your post, I have to say that I think what I post is just too long. This is probably why I do not receive that mnay responses. LOL My posts are long as this is because I cannot work any way to shorten them without losing the humour. This past week I am finding to difficult to answer so many of the posts. I hate the one liners! Blessings

I too recently read a discussion about this earlier. I believe that there are a lot of people trying very hard to do just that. I know that personally I never start a dicsussion unless it's more than a few sentences at the very least. I think that the people out here that only post one liners are wasting our time and mylots and I think that starting discussions like yours is a very good way to raise awareness of this problem. I know that there will be a lot of people that take your advice to heart and I know that I will be one of them. Happy mylotting.

This quite inspirational Zelly and i really appreciate your gesture to improve this place. Nothing like quality posts and I am sure little efforts from us would ensure the good will of the place. The true essence of mylot would be reinstated thus. And I will try my best to give my best to see to it. Right now, right here!

I have not been here that often lately. I have been really busy. I try to post with quality in my replies though. I hope everyone else will try to do better with their posts also. I think the one liners usually get deleted anyway.

I think this is one of the reasons why i haven't started any discussions for quite a while now... i haven't found the right quality one to post here... i have my own share of ones that are a little stupid or easy to answer... so i am now trying to come up with serious ones that will gather not too many but quality responses... I hope i can think of one or two really soon...

INTRODUCTION: I told newbies, as most of my time concentrating on responding to the new user's discussion with no response that the myLot member's NOP(Number Of Postings) or the level of seniority not necessarily reciprocates their level of mastering all the myLot discussion guideline and FAQs. PLEASE BE DESCRIPTIVE AS POSSIBLE: Majority myLot members do not understand for what is a Quality Discussion, especially, for the "Please be as descriptive as possible". What the hell is this encouragement words, actually?. My lucid explanation by making example is when we describe for WHAT IS WHITE?. We must describe it in this way in our discussion; either posted new discussion or response or comment; WHITE is a type of color which consists of seven (7) colors and they are also known as in abbreviation as R.O.Y.G.B.I.V. ~ Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. All colors come from the source of three (3) major colors; Blue, Red and Yellow. DISCIPLINE IN WRITING, DIW ~ WHAT MAKES IT SO IMPORTANT? Every discussion members load their tagging activity which is the keyword or keyphrase to the key preference word to Yahoo! SEO(Search Engine Optimization). So, when any e-surfers do search in their search browser and matched with our discussion's tag words, meaning that our discussion listed on their search page. If they surf our myLot discussion link for their searching articles or journal, they will read our discussion. Meaning that, if our posted discussion or posted response or posted comment are out of DIW they will feel less respect to ours and it also will tarnish myLot reputation. Our words is our "articles". OK ~ in this category, I think am very proud because received many new friends network from outsider(not myLot member) after they read my "articles" and to know more about me, they go to my profile page and on my profile page there is my email address on top of my avatar and they proud of my writing and now they are in my online business networking. My experience talking and not my tongue speaking. WHAT THE HELL ARE THE BENEFITS OF ADDING COMMENT TO OUR RESPONSES?: As I said, although many myLot members already at 10,000NOP but they still blind about this issue and they cannot build up mental and spiritual level to themselves and newbies. Lazy to put back their comments to all responses and indirectly creating negative social relationship between poster and respondents. For respondent, of course and absolutely feeling their response were unwelcome by poster because the poster never add up their Quality Comment to their response. Hate element started burning from this second in one's respondent and justly like a timing bomb waiting to be exploded. Must remember, Poster's discussion can enjoy their great earnings more than normal rate or maximizing their earnings if they received Quality Responses and not just that, their discussion may falls to "Hot", "Top" and "myLot Digest" category of discussion. I am not talking about my theory in this issue, these are the links to prove my "Proof of Statement Made", the links; FAQ index - frequently asked questions - Earnings & Payment Information http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 Item 14 ~ What can I do to increase my earnings? Item 15 ~ How do I calculate my earnings? That is why, discussion with no response(DWNR) make no earnings. Meaning that, how important is one response to any posted new discussion!!!. But, many posters in myLot that I found with NO SMART BRAIN. Know only how to post new discussion BUT don't know how to respect their respondents with their Quality Comment as they thought that their comment will make no earnings. Of course no earnings!!! if we add up our comment only with "Thank you for your response" ~ totally zero in earnings for that type of comment. PROOF OF A QUALITY COMMENT DOES MAKE EARNINGS: Must learn how maximize earning on myLot and must perform own analysis. Many days I had performed my own practical analysis about my Lot earnings operating system. On that day, I ONLY adding up Quality Commentaries to many of my different responses to others discussion and never participate in making response or post new discussion. After myLot updated account, I found mine still earnings reciprocated to my number of Quality Commentaries. From that point of second, I started my campaign about how good and fair is myLot in e-social networking with its earnings program and proven by my writing articles at www.mouthshut.com. Although I knew, many myLot members who are still active being as naysayers on other sites and talking bad things about myLot. I knew, they need lesson but don't want to learn.

Hello Zelmarq! His discussion is really inspiring. But since I was here, I'm really trying to posts quality discussions with 4 and above lines. But like what I said there, there are really discussions that it's hard for me to add more. Sometimes, I even have 3 lines. I will try my best to have 5 and above lines in every response I will make but I am not sure if I can make it.. I also responded to the discussion where he set a goal to posts 7 - 10 lines. I guess you're the second responder there, right? Well, I am the first there..heheheh

I totally agree with you there ! Most of the posts and the topics are so mediocre and one has to really sift through the various discussion topics to find something that is really interesting! And many a times i see repetetive discussions - discussions on the same subject worded differently.I am all for this suggestion and hope other members to cooperate and we have some really quality discussions and postings in the future

WHen I ever post I hope I make good ones as for the one linres I get one person I thinkIs learning to write English an this is the best way they get across so I answer them the best I can and with as much input that I can. and some times that is one line and to the point!

Actually the right word is "quantity" post, not "quality" post. I mean when people talk of Nike, the very powerful slogan comes to mind. That is what quality is. If Nike is so stupid to give a long slogan, between 5 to 7 sentences, then who on earth will remember. So if mylot pays for "quantity" post, then we all should write longer post. Otherwise we lose out on the earnings!

I have only been here for a week or so, but, this is the trend I've noticed. It makes sense to write a short paragraph about an interesting sometimes hot topic rather than one or two lines about something that is not interesting to others. I've tried to keep my discussions thought provocative, and my responses detailed and comprehensive. I have the occassional short post that may or may not be interesting. But, I am learning and I think a short post here and there is ok, as long as the bulk of your writing has substance.
