As a child, when you were caught doing something wrong, which of the following were you most likely to do? Blame someone else, deny that you did it, run and hide, Take full responsibility and accept the consequences. What are you most likely to do now as an adult..??

Hello there petelabhi. When I was a child I usually run and hide when I know that its my fault or I did something wrong. I wouldn't even dare to deny, My parents taught me how to be honest and being in a military family I am scared at my dad until now. As an adult, I face the consequences and take the responsibilities of my own doings. My parents know that I am already a teenager at the age of 19 and trust me for my doings. Of course, I wouldn't break their trust that they have given to me AGAIN. I want to prove to them that they took care a child that they could be proud of that is why i am finishing my course now which is nursing. :)

I did all of the above when I was a child. But being an adult, we are able to view from all possible angles, and can judge the consequences at a mature level, and can tell good from bad behabiors, we are sure to take the responsibility. Children should be taught that way from early ages. Besides the normal positive teachings of good manners, they should be clearly told free of punishment if telling the truth. Scolding or whipping is sometimes the hidden cause of telling lies. That is what the parents must learn if anticipating a promising child.
