I hate answering my mobile when i am on the bus, since you have to shout because of noises around you and everyone would know what are you saying. Well what do you do?

it depends. if it is too crowded and noisy then i don't answer the call. otherwise, i answer the call. it will also depend on the caller. if it is something that can be put off at a later time, then i will not answer and call him later. if its from my boss, i answer it.

mostly i answer my phone on the bus and in the subway. but i try to keep my voice low not to disturb others around. i do dislike those who are speaking on their phones loudly, as if no other people were there. of course, you should mind your conversation, not to expose too much privacy, and answer the phone in quick time. sometimes i just do texting.

Hey there! I don't like it too, but I still answer it. It could an important call from home or at work that it can't wait. If it ain't important I'll ask the caller to call me later or I'll give him/her a later.

I do not mind answering the call on the bus. But I would speak in a low voice, with a hand covering the phone to reduce annoyance to other passengers. Whether on bus or in street, we see people shouting when answering a call. That is really annoying. Speak in a low voice in public should be taught from early childhood. That is as important as avoiding spitting in public.

yes, i would answer the call, when im inside the bus...i dont wanna dis appoint the caller by disconnecting the call...i will hang a head phone or a blue tooth, whenever i travel in either bus or train...my network service provider has a wide range of frequency, so that i could get clean network where ever i go throughout my country..when im using my head phone i will be focussed only on to it..so it will be easy to hear from other who is on line in phone with us.... thanx...happy mylotting..

sure i answer the phone, but speak quietly and shorten my phone conversation. I don't want to expose my privacy. unlike many passengers, they talk so loudly that passengers on the bus can all hear it, and it seems this is what such people hope.

My answer would be no. I havent been on a bus in years. We dont have bus transportaion here in my town other than the school buses. Its weird to see this post because i dont have buses here on the weekends and i probably would answer my phone and tell them i will text them if there phone was text cabable. You make no noise texting and you dont have to worry about the noise around you.

For me, it depends. Now if there are a lot of people on the bus, where people have to stand, i dont pick up at all. I send them a text saying im on the bus and i'll call them back in a bit. Now there arent that many people on the bus, and im sitting with no one next to me, i will answer and talk a bit. If im sitting next to some random person though, i will usually only pick up just to say "hey, im on the bus, whats up?" and if its important ill be quick. if its just a random call, ill call them back. :]

It depends, sometime you get better quality signal and sometimes not.But in most of the cases it do happen that you are in an overcrowded bus and thus it is not possible to talk.so at that time i just reply to the caller that i will call you later.!!

For me, it depends on who is calling me. If I know it's mostly likely going to be a short call or an important one, I'll pick up the phone. Otherwise, I'll wait until I reach my destination so that I don't have to talk loudly or bother other passengers with my conversation.
