Total number of Credit cards.

Hey how many credit cards do you own, there are only three types of credit cards in India, namely Visa, Master, and Amex, and almost all the Indian banks have credit cards which are either Visa or Master. Is there any other kind of credit cards available in your country and how many do you have ?

To be honest, I don't know how many cards I have. Although, most of these cards are store cards. Right now, we haven't been really using any of them. We're trying to get our debt paid down. The only CCs that we use, and only if we need to, are our gas cards.

I am also afraid of using my CCs and I always try to pay the full amount whenever the statement comes. I am scared of getting into the debt traps of the CCs companies, who speak to you nicely when they offer you credit, but as soon as you miss one payment, they send their enforcers to collect the dues.
Tell me what are these gas cards, are they cards which you use for filling fuel for your car, and how is it different from other CCs ?

You're right. Gas cards are for fueling up your car. These cards are the same things as regular credit cards, for the most part. Although, some of these cards can be regular credit cards, with a gas station logo on them, or they can be cards that can only be used at that particular station.

There are numerous credit cards here in the US. Credit card companies would offer you so many things. If you don't know how to say "NO", you'll end up haivng hundreds of them. Personally, I have 5 credit cards. Although I only use three of them regularly.

Well I also have 5 cc, but use only three of them regularly. Even this I am trying to cut down to one, so that atleast I will be able to accumulate more number of reward points and get some good gifts for them.
